I had to email 3 times initially to get her to take my deposit. When I paid the retainer fee, I asked, who is my point person and she replied that it would be her. After they took my payment in full, she contradicted statements made by the engineering team, was quick to get me off the phone, would forward me to the engineering team when it was a question for her to answer, or not get back to me at all. I regret hiring them and forwarding any business to them. My project remains incomplete but paid in full. I worry what I have paid for exactly with my site plan will only result in costly change orders from their incompetence. Update: A business manager has reached out but only I left two reviews of my experience. Prior to my reviews, the project coordinator would refuse to escalate me to anyone else.

Inconsiderate, rude survey crew…read more A 3-person crew of young men brazenly walked down my driveway and into my backyard, telling me later they were 'entitled' to trespass on someone's property to do their survey work. BOTH our family cars were in the driveway and they did not bother to knock on our door. None of the three men had any I.D. on them. The supposed 'crew chief' was rude and stand-offish. I called the Warrenville Police, who mediated the dispute from the end of our driveway. The crew chief phoned his company owner, then handed me his phone. 'Eric Carradus' said they 'had always done business this way.' I informed him that being hired to do survey work does NOT entitle his employees to trespass on private property without even a knock on the door to ask permission. --This is 2024 and people are a lot more cautious these days, especially senior citizens like myself. The City of Warrenville verified that I "did the right thing" in calling police. Although Eric Carradus told me he would ask him employees to start asking permission to walk across private property, he would not commit to them having to carry company I.D.s (such as a gas meter reader or Amazon). From his (also) stand-offish attitude on the phone, I highly doubt that any change in company policy or behavior will be made. The Carradus crew chief guy (almost sarcastically) "apologized" to me --in front of two police officers. I told him that I accept his apology. He then (again, almost sarcastically) "asked" if his crew could enter my property to do survey work (for my next door neighbor). I said 'yes', told the police that I considered the matter resolved, and turned and went back inside. Regardless, I would urge everyone reading this review to use ANY LAND SURVEY COMPANY EXCEPT CARRADUS of Carol Stream. Their representatives were rude, inconsiderate, felt 'entitled' and carried no I.D.

He did a great job of marketing our house, the online photos looked great and he was incredibly responsive. Unfortunately, the buyer's agent, Sophia Su, was very unprofessional and almost derailed the sale at several points. At one point, we almost terminated, which would have been really bad for the buyers who really wanted our house. I would definitely go to Dan again (and in fact recommend him heartily to all of my friends who need a Realtor) but encourage you to steer clear of Sophia. I'm all for Realtors who protect your interests as a buyer but when it comes to this type of unprofessional behavior, she reflects badly on the other RE/MAX agents in this office. (And in fact, I've written to RE/MAX corporate and told them so.)

After applying, we agreed to a 16-month lease term and were fine providing our own washer and dryer, even though we were initially told during the tour that the landlord would replace them. Since the home had been on the market for 60 days, politely asked if there was any room for negotiation on the rent. Even if they had declined, we still likely would have taken the home. Instead, we were completely ghosted. Despite numerous calls and texts, we received zero updates -only to discover they were still scheduling tours for the property, despite telling us that applying gave us first right of refusal. Coming from a sales background, this severe lack of communication is extremely frustrating. Worse, we lost out on another property while waiting to hear back on this one. It was a complete waste of our time and $100 in application fees. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
