I'm the Board President of a 24 unit condo building in North Center that has underground parking. We have recently had a crazy string unrelated garage issues that Robert's had come through hugely on! Most notably 2 different after hours weekend emergency calls one of which was specifically due to a mistaken owner who backed into the door inadvertently causing enough damage that the door could not be opened without the professional help of Robert's. The team is always in contact with us on the ETA and very clear on their findings and recommendations. This company and crew bring a level of security and satisfaction to our HOA that you can't put a price on! They are always extremely fair on price even when we needed the emergency service. I couldn't recommend a better company than Robert's Garage Door Professionals of Chicago to take care of all of your garage door needs!

The repairman was there for about 7 minutes, charged $150.00 to say the opener is old and I should keep it until it stops working completely. Their labor rate must be between $900 -1000.00 per hour Then gave a $674.00 quote for a new opener and asked if I wanted to replace the opener. As he did not actually do any kind of service or repair, what was I charged $150.00 for? Obviously, I will not be using this company again as they lack ethics and integrity. Garage door openers are about $140.00 - 175.00 at most hardware stores. Why would I pay this company almost $700.00? Update: No one stated that I would be charged $150.00 just to have your person show up and do nothing. How do you stand by that kind of 'pricing'. That is called fraud and unethical. Nathan C obviously is okay with ripping off a potential customer. His comments prove that the company doesn't care about customer satisfaction, value or integrity.
