DO NOT COME HERE Horrible experience!!! would not recommend…read morethis office. The young male assistant was very kind and professional, but my issue is with the dentist. I've been coming to this office for years and always kept up with my six-month checkups. In January of last year, I was told I had two cavities-- one on my back right molar and one on the tooth in front of it. They only filled the tooth in front of the molar, even though I asked about both teeth. Now that back molar has progressed to the point where I need a root canal, which I'll have to pay for out of pocket. The dentist also told me I needed my wisdom tooth removed because it would interfere with the root canal. I wasn't convinced, so I got a second opinion from another dentist, who told me my wisdom tooth did not need to be removed. I also felt the price they quoted for the root canal was much higher than other offices I contacted. In addition, my sister had a root canal done at this office and continued to have severe pain afterward. She was later told by another dentist that the root canal had not been completed properly, and the tooth ultimately had to be extracted. A friend of mine had a very similar experience. After continuing to have pain following a root canal at this office, another dentist told him the root canal had not been fully completed, and he was also told the tooth now needs to be extracted. The previous owners provided much better care. Since the ownership changed, my family's experiences have been very disappointing. I would not return or recommend this office. After my family and multiple close people also had the same experience I think it's fair to say this dentist is a scam and all they care about is getting money. SAVE THE PAIN AND MONEY AND GO TO A DIFFERENT DENTIST!!! Update: They had the front desk lady Leslie write a fake review for the company. As you can see the 2nd review even says the front desk lady is Leslie plus I know her full name from when I went to the dentist. This dentist is a complete fraud!!! I can not express this enough, please DO NOT COME HERE

There was a younger girl that used to work the front desk previously and was on top of her game (Vanessa I think her name was) I have been getting calls that my annual cleaning was not covered by insurance and that I now owe $130.. the last girl that worked the front desk would of told me at booking that this service would not be covered as it would be my third cleaning of the year. But instead the newer girl booked me without question. After my phone call with Evelyn (the new front desk girl) explaining that had I known I would have to pay for my cleaning I would of never had the service done, her reply was "okay. Well just send you to collections." Unfortunately due to her I will be finding a new dentist.

The quality of dental work remains excellent, and the team is skilled and professional. As the practice grows, I do find myself missing a bit of the personal touch that made it feel like home in years past. Still, I'm grateful for the care and hope that balance returns as they continue to expand. 12/06/2024 As you see, by four years since my first review, I am still very happy with Dr. Meera and her team. Their service and bedside manners are excellent. I'm always informed of my state of dental health and collaborative approach to treatment plans. Very happy with their practice. 11/1/2022 This practice under Dr. Meera is excellent. So good that now that I am switching to Medicare I am making sure the plan that I get have them as approved providers. If I could not be covered through my plan I would pay cash, that is how fantastic they are. 8/23/2022 You might think that I'm part of Sunshine Family Dental staff, related to a staff member, or perhaps I get paid ... No, I'm a client, a very satisfied client who appreciates good service, specially as I'm getting older and dental issues could get bad. So far so good. Cleaning regularly prevents problem and my dental hygienist does a great job while being kind and very nice. The whole staff is professional, delightful, and very helpful. I'm glad I found Dr. Meera 5?years ago. 5/18/2022 Another good visit to the dentist. I am always in good hands here. Dr. Meera and her staff always charming and personal. The front desk staff makes you feel comfortable immediately when you walk in the door. Everything was on time and is an extremely professionally run office. The best dental care I have experienced in years! Professional, courteous, and friendly staff is rare this days, would highly recommend to anyone!!! 6/4/2021 Visit Excellent as usual even when I dropped my dental insurance and got their dental plan. 1/26/2021 Another excellent visit to Sunshine Family Dental. My insurance does not cover 100% of their service, Eve though is a PPO, so I'm cancelling my insurance because I do not want to change dentists. I wrote several reviews in the past and I keep finding Dr. Meera to be excellent at her trade, kind, gentle, and has a nice smile. Always keeping an eye to prevent my dental issues. I love that they took the time that were closed, due to COVID, to remodel and expand - smooth transition and good protective procedures in place, for staff and clients, as they resume business. Thank you for prioritizing our well-being 9/24/2020 update. As usual great great gentle service. I had to change my appointment due to work schedule and they were fantastic at accommodating me. I recently moved to Roselle and was looking for a new dentist and Wolski had great reviews online. However, now looking at them closer, I think any new reviews that were bad, were removed. Years ago there are reviews warning about the insane prices, and sadly I missed these. I called and asked them if they were in my network and provided my insurance. They said yes- which I just found out was a LIE. My first visit I made an appointment for a cleaning. They did x-rays and then I was told I would have to return for my cleaning...which I have never ever experienced and I have been to over 4 dentists-due to relocations. I was bothered because I specifically made the appointment for the cleaning and a possible cavity. I was charged an insanely high price for x-rays and told I had to pay then and there. I told them that I always waited to get billed to my address, after insurance has gone through and made adjustments. I was told that's not how they do it because "You cant just go to the store and leave with free milk". Which made no sense to me because I have insurance and have ALWAYS paid later. I returned for my cleaning a month later, and they fit me in for a cavity as well because I reminded them it was bothering me. He charged me $395 for a cavity!! My insurance covers 80% but I still have never been charged such a high price. I realized there was no negotiated rate and that's when my suspicions kicked in. I was told to pay for my cleaning too...which I said no to because my insurance covers it at 100%. I still left the office paying $175 for a cavity because of how high the charge was. After talking to my insurance, I found out he is not in my network and I was lied to. I am beyond upset at this treatment and on top of it was in pain for over a week from a filling, and I still cant bite down properly. I told him this before leaving and he told me to come back AGAIN because "it was probably just the numbing cream" (which he charges $82 for by the way). I didn't even go in to get it fixed because I feel completely taken advantage of with this entire situation. I plan to go somewhere else actually in my network where I will pay a quarter of the price.
