Dan the owner was overly helpful on so many levels. He helped set up and insulated my water for the crazy cold KC winters. Plus I didn't have the best sewer connection, he ended up creating a pvc pipe connection for me. It's a great place for long stay parking, especially if you are in KC for a few months working like I was. It's very clean and well lit. Full hookups for 50 or 30 amp electricity, water and sewer. There is no WiFi or cable. I ordered an AT&T DSL as the other local companies don't service the area. AT&T was great. You pay the monthly electricity and water is included. Call first, set up a meeting with Fan and schedule a time to pull in. I have a 1989 24' Class C and a perfect spot, but there were quite a few larger Motorhomes and Campers.

As a long-term resident of La Casita mobile home community Kansas City Missouri I am afraid I have…read moreto report that there are extreme inconsistencies in management. In the five years that I have lived there we have had four different managers. Each one creates new hostility. None of them are really managers. Managers don't act that way. I run an e-commerce company and I've been a manager most of my life. When taking on a new position you investigate matters you ask questions you ask people why they are doing what they are doing. And then it's something seems to be out of character maybe not what you think it should be then you can investigate that and you can figure out why it's called managing. And at the end of which if you then find a problem or inconsistency you can address it at that time. You do so respectfully. Now, with those points in mind none of the managers that I have seen during the time that I've lived at the La Casita mobile home community exhibit those qualities. I obviously have several employees. I have a nurse who is with me about half the week. She spends a lot of time at the house. She does not live there. As such she is not a decision maker. Who does the new manager approach? The employee! And then when that manager is in fact corrected and made aware of the fact that they have made an error, but they only compound the problem and do nothing to correct it.

Huge Pot holes that have somehow managed to pop all 4 of my tires and it's on the only one way we have out of the neighborhood. Property wasn't cleaned up or repaired from previous tenants, within a week I was harassed by the neighbor and his psychotic wife who happens to be the "maintenance", they have a guy running around pretending to be a cop as "security", now I've discovered the walls an other locations to be filled with black mold! The floors are also deteriorating. It's been 6 weeks that they have yet to attempt to fix this situation even after a conference call with the regional manager and the incompetent property manager. The scaley manager did manage to completely remodel her new home with the properties funds but we were told nothing is in the budget for tenants repairs! We've had to pay a real electrician to come fix the wiring nightmare since this place sent an unlicensed inexperienced guy to look at it and fix nothing. They did feel it necessary to pile the "electrician", his girlfriend, office staff, and the manager along with her husband into my home that hoot and hollered while I tried to sleep as I work nights. I'm now too the point of having to have hired two seperate attorneys to deal with the incompetent management here. I've been lied too and I feel like I've been robbed for too long. I have paid on time Everytime, and enough is enough it's been 6 weeks and nothing has been done to fix anything and my daughter has had a bedroom! Avoid at all cost!!
