Lancaster Office: I met with a PA Amanda Smith for a full body scan Dec. 2025 (4 prior skin cancer…read moresurgeries). I was hesitant to see a PA who may not be as familiar with ID'ing skin cancer. I brought in a list of concerns. I pointed out a spot on my chest that looked like a pimple that wouldn't go away plus sore. Amanda said it was 50/50 to her but she wasn't sure. I traveled 1 hour for this appt. & with prior history requested a biopsy. I called back afterwards and spoke to the office mgr. to inquire if I could meet with a doctor for my yearly next time. She said yes, then proceeded to tell me that Mohs surgery is only needed for your face (their onsite doctor isn't Mohs certified). That is clearly not true. Mohs surgery is to make sure you have all the borders clean before you leave the office, regardless of location on your body. I cancelled my yearly check in for Dec. 2026. My biopsy results came back as not cancerous. I received a call a week ago asking me to come back in 4-6 weeks since my area COULD be cancerous in the future! This office only cares about billing. Do yourself a favor and go to a Mohs certified doctor in Columbus if you have skin cancer.

She talked to me like I was some crackhead or something, but I'm actually an educator! They told me my symptoms were allergies, but my husband had COVID! They wouldn't even test me, even when I told them that I have stage 4 cancer and am supposed to travel to Cancer Treatment Centers of America next week. Miss Blondyhead came in and got kind of snappy, saying, "I don't even know why you're requesting to be tested" and "I mean we only quarantine for 10 days now". Well excuse me for not working in the medical industry! Let's quiz you on how to give a kid an IEP! Jeez.... Then later when she was telling my husband about when to quarantine until, etc...and may I mention very sweetly and professionally...she looked at me and said, "I don't know WHAT - YOU have!" Lady, you need to go work somewhere where you don't have to deal with other human beings.
