I left a review for Renewal by Andersen back on May 10, 2025 because of a mistake made by Renewal…read moreby Andersen when they initially replaced 20 windows on my home. It looked terrible! I am writing to replace that review with an update review-Thank the Lord! After looking into my case Renewal by Andersen did the right thing by their customer and replace all 20 windows on my home at no additional cost to me. I am happy to say that my home looks beautiful once again. The windows are no longer an "eye-sore" when I come home. Renewal by Andersen replace my windows with a terrific match to my exterior brick and wood trim/shutters. The house looks amazing with my new windows! The installation crews (3 different crews) were all WONDERFUL to work with! They were professional, friendly and did amazing work. Thank you Renewal by Andersen for doing the right thing and supporting your customer!

I made a appointment for them to come out to measure for two entry doors, (one 36"front door and one 36" entry garage door), but two days after I made the appointment they sent me a text message telling me that they would not be able to help me out, so I called their office to find out why. Apparently, they googled my home and decided that their product was not suitable for my application. I built a pole barn house 10 years and they told me that my home would not support their product, my exterior walls are 8 1/2 inches thick with 2 x 6 studded exterior walls. I asked them if they could at least come out and look at what I have but they refused. The only thing they could offer me was giving me the phone number to Anderson, they told me that they would be more than happy to help me out. The one thing I do not understand why Renewal by Anderson advertises that they are replacement windows and doors company, but yet they were not able to help me out or even look at what I was wanting. The other thing I am not happy about is I keep getting mailers from them wanting to sell me doors and windows. If they do not want to sell me their product, at least they should take me off their mailing list. John E Schmarr

In the midst of my evening delirium from caring for our infant son after a long day of chasing…read morearound our toddler, I noticed a couple of dark spots on our second floor ceiling. A bone-chilling thought occurred: We might have a leaky roof! We contacted Bone Dry Roofing, and I received a prompt call back. We were able to schedule to have someone come out to do a free estimate within a couple of days. John arrived on time and was very respectful of our home and our napping kids. He went in to the attic to take a look at spots where I reported possible leaks. I also asked him to take a look at our chimney since Bone Dry Roofing has masons on staff as well. After taking his time to thoroughly check out our attic, including taking pictures of all locations of interest, John went on to our roof to further inspect everything. The end result? He told me that the moisture I noticed is actually very fluky, because we set our inside humidity level a little too high and our attic isn't very well-ventilated. As a result, significant ice build-up during the recent string of week-long below-freezing temperature suddenly melted during a couple of warm days, that, normally our insulation would be enough to absorb the moisture but in this case the ice build-up was too much. He reported that our roof is actually in good shape, even if our attic isn't well-ventilated. At the end, he gave me basically four options. Option 1 is to simply not do anything and turn our inside humidity way down during exceptionally cold days (15%). Option 2 is to spend a few hundred dollars to add a couple of more vents to allow moisture to escape. Option 3 would be the biggest job, spending a couple of thousand to add a state-of-the-art full attic ventilation system. We very much appreciated the comprehensive list of options, and John did not try to make a hard sell on any of the options that actually would cost us money. It's quite apparent that Bone Dry is a very honest company and not out to squeeze a buck out of every home visit. When we do decide to do something about our attic, we will definitely go with Bone Dry's options without contacting another contractor.
