I was pleasantly surprised when my husband pulled into the parking lot of Lance's Pizza and Subs…read more Dover doesn't have many choices in restaurants, and we were taking a day trip on the bike. Lance's was perfect! My husband had a delicious chef salad. It was large and full of very fresh veggies, with meats, and boiled egg, just as hubby likes. Then we shared a small pizza with sausage and mushrooms. I assumed it would be more of an individual size because it was only around $7.50, but it was 8 slices! We only ate half of it, but it was delicious. There was a family at a table near us packing up their leftovers to take home, and I offered them our untouched half. They had a lot of mouths to feed, and there's not a lot of extra room on a motorcycle to carry a pizza box. So if you find yourself traveling through Dover, TN and want a very, very reasonably priced meal, Lance's is a great choice!

Disappointed to say the least…read more I've been a loyal customer and fan of Michael's for nearly 30 years -- back when they were just a tiny place in St. B. That's why this experience was especially frustrating. Today, I ordered two pizzas and was really looking forward to their cheese dip with the little dippers. When we received our order, the cheese dip was missing. Mistakes happen, so I called to let them know and see how it could be resolved. I had paid $7 (plus tax and tip) for that item. The first response I received was that the manager said "sorry" and that they would make sure it didn't happen again. While I appreciate the apology, that doesn't fix the fact that I paid for something I didn't receive. When I asked if I could at least receive a credit for next time, I was told no -- they could only credit the cheese itself, valued at $2, because of store policy. It's disappointing to learn that when a mistake is made, the policy is not to fully make it right. After being a customer for three decades, this experience has unfortunately changed my perspective

If you're looking for authentic Italian food, weloveEmilia is a true authentic gem in Clarksville,…read moreTN.. My husband and I absolutely LOVE this Italian restaurant and return again and again from Nashville because the quality is consistently outstanding!! Some reviews complain that the pizza is "floppy" or doesn't have enough toppings. This is authentic Italian pizza--not an American chain pizza loaded with heavy toppings and thick crust. The dough is freshly made, the ingredients are fresh and high quality, and the pizza is prepared the way it is meant to be in Italy. The pasta, pizza, and salads are exceptional, and the desserts are incredible, and you can truly taste the difference that comes from fresh ingredients. Every dish feels like it was made with love, care and respect for traditional Italian cooking. The restaurant itself is casual, charming and EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN!! You order at the counter and seat yourself inside or outside under the covered patio, which we actually enjoy because it keeps the atmosphere relaxed and welcoming. Some people seem to expect a formal fine-dining experience because of their so called "high prices"-- you are paying for authentic, freshly made quality food--not a fast-food version of Italian cuisine. In our opinion, WelovEmilia serves the best authentic pizza, pasta, and desserts in all of Clarksville and Nashville. If you appreciate genuine Italian food made fresh from scratch, this place is worth a visit. We love the entire knowledgeable awesome friendly staff and exceptional accommodating cooks. When we leave we are completely satisfied, over stuffed, and so happy we came and are always looking forward to our next visit. WelovEmilia doesn't try to be everyone's version of Italian food--it stays true to authentic Italian traditions, and that's exactly why weloveEmilia!!

When it arrived, it was doughy and undercooked even though it took so long. We gave them another try because their pricing is cheap. Big mistake. We ordered an Italian sub which took so long my husband had to ask where our order was. The girl working had to go find the other kid on shift to make it but he hadn't even started it. We were on lunch break and it took so long we had to eat on the road. The sub was so soaked in dressing it was soggy. They didn't even put any cheese, onions, peppers or anything that you would expect on a subway sandwich. Just meat, tomato, and warm lettuce. It was inedible and I couldn't even get my money back because my lunch break was over. I think the problem is they are too cheap to staff and adult on any shift. It's literally just run by unsupervised high school kids. Very obvious that the owner does not care about the operation of this establishment.
