I ordered a basic pepperoni pizza and the vampire cheese bread. Within 30 minutes of eating it, both my wife and I became violently ill with vomiting and diarrhea. That's not a coincidence -- that's a serious problem. I called the restaurant to report what happened, expecting at least concern or professionalism. Instead, the owner recorded the call and accused me of trying to "Shanghai" him for free food. That response alone tells you everything you need to know about how customer complaints are handled. The food was substandard, and the service was worse. When customers raise legitimate health concerns, they should be met with accountability -- not accusations. I will not be returning. read more

Cute little place tucked into a strip mall. It's been there for many years and I don't know how we are just now finding it. The owner is really friendly. He came out to meet us and check on our food. There isn't even a menu. So I called and have been on hold for 8 minutes as I wrote this. And when they answered all they said was "please hold". Stopped in Clarksville for dinner and we were in the mood for pizza. It looks like there are several options for that these days in C'ville-- but Caprigios looked particularly interesting. I'm glad that's the choice we went with! We dined in--there aren't a ton of tables but it's cozy and inviting if you're able to snag a booth and the service was super-friendly and helpful. We had the "powa" (pepperoni, salami, bacon, etc.) pizza (med, 12") and some "vampire breadsticks". Both were fantastic--the breadsticks were cheesy and very garlicky (in a great way). Pizza is thin crust, cooked perfectly. Prices are very fair (all of the above for $30). The ranch (if you're a dipper) is house-made and delicious. Even the basic, small touches like clean bathrooms with hot water, clean booths, etc. were all in place and noticed. If I lived close by this would be my go-to pizza restaurant, as it stands we'll stop in whenever the opportunity arises. read more

Order a large pepperoni pizza, one cheesy and regular bread sticks and 8 piece wings. Price was $50.99 - The pepperoni pizza was floppy and a little on the chewy side. The pepperoni ratio was great. The sauce/cheese/crust, nothing special - Both types of breadsticks were less than desirable. The cheese in the bread had an off taste. The regular bread stick had a crispy type of cheese n top and the flavor was just not there. Both of them looked more like flatbread than actually bread sticks. - Wings were on the chewy side, no crisp. Bland, just buffalo and they didn't include ranch. They tasted like a frozen wing from Tyson that were heat up in the microwave. no seasoning on them. Conclusion. For the price, I would not say this is a $50+ place, maybe more like $35- $40. I loved the pizza it was cooked perfectly to my liking (my husband said he wished it was a little crispier. I don't think so). When we were there for the police. So, I'm originally from California and I haven't been able to find a steady good restaurant in Clarksville. It just so happened that my husband was having surgery at Tennova across the street and knew he'd be starving when he was done, so we got a slice. Caprigio's Pizza is located in a strip mall and woukd be very easy to overlook as nothing from its exterior gives it away that there is some excellent pizza awaiting inside. The pizza has a deliciously thin crust perfectly accented buy a great tomato sauce, a perfect amount of cheese and topped with a great blend of herbs and spices. For me, the true test for a pizza should be a pizza unadorned either additional toppings. Without these additional toppings like sausage, pepperoni, peppers or any of the other usual suspects, you can better taste the quality of the pizza. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy certain toppings on pizza. Though I have to admit, my favorite is still the standard plain cheese pizza. Probably my second favorite is a pizza with everything on it, throw all the toppings on it. However, there is nothing wrong with a slice of sausage pizza or pepperoni pizza. Anyway, this pizza is fantastic and I 100% recommend a visit here. I will give it five stars. read more

1 star for flavor. Nice employees. Spent 20.00 on a 12 inch micro-thin crust scrawny teeny tiny Supreme pizza w/ two sauces. I honestly nearly choked when they opened the box to show off the pizza as if it was something to be proud of. I came here for take out but I walked out hood winked. I'm from California so paying a little more for good food is normal for me. The pictures on google don't show how the slices are probably less than a CM thick. I nearly got a paper cut trying to get it in. Garlic butter was decent. I got two sauces which was way over kill. The pizza slice is so small one dip in the sauce and my pizza was drenched we're talking 3 bites : one slice ratio. Flavor is there but it doesn't taste as good when you know you just got shrinkflationed. I won't be returning. I ate 3 slices & didn't even want to eat the rest... killed my appetite & my mood. Stick to Papa John's or anywhere else but here. I had better pizza at the Raceway Hunter Brother's cheaper and more food. Caprigios should be ashamed of themselves. read more
