They put new stickers over meat thats expiring to change the expiration date so they can still sell it. Not only is that illegal but its so disgusting. I would never shop here or ever trust their food products. I sincerely hope enough people report this place and get it shut down. read more

I'm not from here but I visited this IGA today around 7pm and the management this day was just horrible. At one of the registers 2 employees were helping a customer and one young man was told to go get the manager. A few seconds later whenever he opens the door the whole store can hear utter yelling come from this office, absolute disrespect to this employee when he did was he was told to do. I'm shocked. I've heard from my family living in midway that this IGA is a good local grocery store, and my expectations absolutely dropped. No apology, this poor employee was humiliated and disrespected in front of this whole store. read more

The little grocery store that could. This is the only grocery store in the little town of Midway but is really more like an oversized convenience store. You won't be able to get your weekly shopping done here since they carry so little but it's good if you need something in a pinch. They don't carry many name brands but they will have a cheaper version of what you need in case you run out of butter or something while cooking. The staff is very friendly and kind. The store itself is dirty but I'm seeing some slight changes and improvement with new management. I've noticed the produce looks to be fresh now (yes, they had moldy produce for sale) and they added rotisserie chickens. Although they put the rotisserie oven out in the open....that is a burn waiting to happen. read more

I would give this place zero stars if I could. Don't go there they are over priced. They wash their meat in bleach and they will rip you off. The owner is very cheap man. I went in the store one day early in the morning and saw the owner Jim Woods pick through fruit. Instead of him throwing away a bag of fruit if one spoiled. He would pick out the one that is spoiled and put it back on the rack for resell. He steals ice from the vending machine a few feet away then place it in the store. This store ripped off my Credit Card with bad machines. They took $25 off my Credit Card. The latin lady that rung up my grocery told me that transaction didn't go through when I got home and looked at my online bank statement it when through. I am currently out $25 dollars because this store robbed me. They keep saying it was a global issue on Aug 28th when people swiped credit cards in the store. The manager Shirley keeps giving me the run around by saying its a global issue. Talking about give it another week. Don't go here. This store need to be shut down for health issues and cheating customers out of money. read more
