As a big craft beer guy always in search of good local brew, I was overjoyed to see that they have the best beer selection I've ever seen at a gas station. There is about half a wall's worth (I'd say 12-15 feet of head-to-toe cooler space) of craft beer and of that, it's mostly Georgia beers. They also have artisanal ice cream, coffee, and a number of other snack foods that heavily outclass Cheetos and Ding-Dongs (though more traditional snacks and drinks are available as well). The store is spotless and seems to resemble more of a high-end grocery store rather than a run-of-the-mill highway-side gas station convenience store. I've been to 49 states across more than a hundred road trips and I have *never* seen a business like this. My only regret is that I failed to get pictures to share here.

Hi Everyone, We had…read morevery close friends staying with us who we had not seen in over a year. One couple had just gotten married three weeks earlier, and were retuning from a Florida Honeymoon. Unfortunately, a very bad snow storm up north prevented us from attending their wedding. So we were thrilled to have them staying with us. We all went out to dinner Friday night, and Saturday night to celebrate, and then afterwards, we all enjoyed drinks in our home. On Sunday morning, we all cheered on the US Olympic Hockey team as they won the Gold metal! We then, all relaxed in our Carolina room, looking out on our pond like children wanting to go outside to play but it was very abnormally cold for us here, in The Low Country. We all talked for hours on end, played Cards Against Humanity, etc..., forgot about the World, and unlike children, drank a few as we all sat back, relaxed, and throughly enjoyed each other's company. However, my stock on two liquors everyone was enjoying ran much lower than I expected. They had all planned to leave Sunday morning however, now, yet another snow storm raged in their area so they all were going to be staying with us for a couple more days. None of our liquor stores in our were open on Sunday, so one of our good friends drove with me to Pooler GA to replace our libations. We got to Pooler Spirits Warehouse when it was opening. Their store is very neat, clean, and well organised. Amy our attendant was very friendly, and courteous actually taking the time to show us where our two types of liquor were located. We all swapped jokes at checkout while the card transaction was delayed (I guess the very tiny Engineer in the CC machine was still attending church), and we're on our way back home. So when your friends are unexpectedly staying longer than planned, or for any reason, you may need more liquor, we can highly recommend Pooler Spirits Warehouse. I know they save my forgetful bacon, and helped us extent a great honeymoon celebration and time with great friends. Enjoy!

This instance of Jeff's just didn't have the quantity nor the selection closer to I-95. I still ended up buying a couple of sixers of local brew, but there was not much to choose from, which I found surprising. Also, as a side note, for both this Jeff's and the one on US 17 - not being able to create your own sixer is a bummer. One of the reasons I didn't give the other local a full-five. Regardless of this, it's a solid place, give it a try, they have most of the usual and super popular stuff...

They really want you in to spend money and could care less to make your acquaintance. Prices are a little higher than normal and craft beer could be better with dates. Maybe rotate them on a regular basis. I can't really say if there are any serious craft beer drinkers in this city due to the fact there's only one brewery which has a Viking theme which is not necessary.

I had never been to this store before and I have a hard time finding the seltzer I like. I thought they may sell them so I pulled up to give them a shot. I walked in the entrance and walked back to where seemed to be all the beer and Seltzer. I looked around and unfortunately they did not have what I wanted. So, like any normal person would do, I went to walk out. I walked to the door that I entered only to find it was an entry only and did not open outward. So I walked to find the exit.. it was by the register so I walked down the aisle and went to leave and I was abruptly confronted by this worker. I yelled and screamed at me that I took something. I said excuse me, no Ihaven't. He persisted to yell and tell me to put my bag on the counter . All this is happenejng while multiple customers are standing around. I explained I would not put my bag on the counter but I would open it and go through it with him. I persisted I pull my belongings out of my bag... wallet,keys, perfume, lotion, receipts, etc. The man continued to scream at me to put my bag on the counter and again I told him no and continued pulling every th ing out of my bag as all these customers stared and watched. He then came around the counter and physically grabbed me and my bag and started trying to pull my bag out of my arms. I kept telling him to no and to stop and that I would go through it with him. He just kept yanking and pushing and pulling. While all these customers are witnessing it. He stated he was going to call the cops and i said please do because i have nothing from your store. I was finally able to pull myself and my bag away and immediately turned it upside-down and shook all of my belonging out onto the floor while all the other customers where watching and said clearly I have nothing in my bag and they agreed. The man then said something in a language I didn't understand and walked back around the counter. I then started picking up my things and a very nice lady started helping me. The man then yelled why did i come in and walk right out, and i of course stated because i wanted a certain seltzer and yall didnt sell it so i had no need to stay in the store. I finished picking up my things and instead of calling the cops myself to press assult charges for the scratch marks, i stated i would never be back here and walked myself out of the store and immediately left. Needless to say, this place and that man are horrid and i do mot recommend going there unless you want to be physically assulted. I have never had this happen nor do i expect this to happen to anyone. Thisbis completely unacceptable and if i knew another route to close this establishment, i would. Never again!

He said I had to also purchase a castle and key vodka to get that price. He said it is because the distributor makes them buy both. The distributor may do this but it is his choice to force it on his customers. I would have bought all three bottles of the Castle and Key bourbon if he hadn't tried to force his illegal, or at least, unethical practice on me.
