The facility itself is clean, well-maintained, and secure, giving me peace of mind that my belongings are safe while I was deployed to Poland. Once I returned I was scheduled to PCS. My property was slated for pickup the first of the month which would have meant that I would have to pay for the whole month for using the facility for a day. When I explained the situation to Ryan the store manager he understood my predicament and was able to help my situation. So we had decided to put everything in storage, it was important to us to find a heat controlled place so our things wouldn't be susceptible to mold and things being Georgia is such a hot and humid state. We got our storage in July of 2018 and I have been waiting to do this review just to make sure our whole experience was good and not just the initial experience because I've had plenty of experiences where sales people will oversell you and then when they have your money you are not a concern to them anymore. However, in this case it was a smooth process through and through. We had the pleasure of working with Angela when we inquired about looking at storage units and we feel like she did a great job, she took us back the same day we came in and showed us the options she had available at this location. Finding a storage unit that would hold our household goods seemed to be an easy process and Angela walked us through all of it being this was our first time ever getting a storage unit. We had set up automated payments making it extremely easy while we where gone and if we had any questions it was easy to contact them via email or by phone. I recently moved back, 2 weeks before my husband came back and by this time had forgotten my pin to get into the gate. We contacted Angela and she sent it to my husbands email so when it came time to move out there were no issues getting into the gate to get to our storage. And when the day came to get our stuff out there were no issues at all with our furniture or any of our belongings, I swear by climate controlled units. What I really appreciated too was the day after moving everything out Angela had given me a call to make sure I was the one who emptied the storage and even told me she had swept the storage out for me ( I had planned on doing it later that week) which was really sweet and we appreciated it. Only drawback for us here is even if you move out mid-month you're still paying for the entire month, they only do a prorated amount for when you move in. Also, this is a place where you have to ask for any type of discount, military discount is not just given but they do offer it. Also if you find a deal online mention it or you'll be paying their regular rates. Another thing being we are not from this area we had asked Angela if she had any movers she would recommend and she recommended Mr. Brown, if you're like me and always ask the locals this is just one mover I would not recommend ( stop n stor didn't lose a point for that but I have to put that out there to save other families from our mistakes) he was very unorganized and we lost a tv in the process and were overcharged. But all in all I would still recommend this location. Staff were friendly and the units were extremely clean. Also there were no hidden fees.

I reserved my U-haul truck using the app. When I went to pick it up the app said to go inside and…read morepick up the keys and that it would be quick. I had people from out of town helping me move. When I went inside, I couldn't see anyone and nobody greeted me. I wasn't sure where to go so I walked around where a man was sitting in an office speaking to someone. He told me he would be with me in a minute. I sat down and waited atleast 30 minutes with no one saying anything to me. Finally a woman told me she would help me. She checked me in and I asked her if the furniture dolly and the appliance dolly that I reserved were in the back of the truck. She said she didn't know and that she didn't think they even had an appliance dolly. I informed her that on the app it said they did and that I had reserved it. She said that just because it says they have one on the app, that it doesn't mean they actually have one. That would have been nice to know ahead of time as I wasn't sure if I'd be able to move my stuff without it. Turns out there was no appliance dolly there so I decided to get an additional furniture dolly as I had people from out of town helping me move and at this point it's my only option. She did let me use the additional furniture dolly free of charge. When I got the truck to my house and opened the back I was shocked to see that there was trash, a wet sock, and a ton of broken glass in the back. I had to clean out the entire thing before I was able to use it. I will not be going back to this business for U-Haul services again.
