We stayed in room number 5. It was convenient to all the shops, restaurants, and bars on the main tourist strip. However, it was an AWFUL room. We saw the pictures online when booking it, and it looked ok. It was the only room left for that weekend. When we arrived, we saw what it was really like. The bathroom had dried toilet paper on the floor and there was water from the toilet trickling down the floor. There were NO toiletries provided other than toilet paper. There was a used bar of soap at the sink. There is NO kitchenette and NO dishes/utensils as stated in the advertisement for the room. There was a coffee maker but NO coffee was provided and no sugar or cream. There was a mini fridge and a microwave. That's it. It is old. That's fine that it's old, but it could've been a LOT cleaner. The bed had a long black hair in it. I have red hair. There were two instances where we woke up in the middle of the night because of bugs in the bed. The RED GLOWING EXIT LIGHT above the door INSIDE the room kept us awake as well. After the second bug in the bed, we said, "forget this," gathered our belongings, and left at 5:00 a.m. We didn't even get to enjoy the town the next day because we were exhausted from no sleep. We couldn't shower either because there was no soap, no shampoo, etc. The advertisement for the room made it sound like all that would be provided. It was a HORRIBLE experience. I received a call from the property when I gave them a "thumbs down" on the survey I received. The lady asked me why I gave a thumbs down, and I explained everything. She said they wanted to make it better. I told her I wasn't looking for compensation or anything, but wanted them to know how bad it was. She said they wanted to make it better for us in some way, so I said ok. She said someone would be calling me to follow up. No one ever called back.
Another thing that was weird was that we had to take out our own garbage upon departure, and we were warned in the documents we signed when renting the room that if anything was broken, etc. we would be charged. I understand that, but it was the way it was presented that was just rude sounding.
We DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. read more
