I and my family have enjoyed Taylor Dental now for several years. People there are friendly,…read morehelpful, and professional. I still don't enjoy 'going to the dentist' as a matter of course based on experiences growing up, but Taylor Dental has helped reduce much of that anxiety for me. Getting a standard appointment (i.e. checkup/cleaning) needs to be made well in advance. But if you are having an issue, they are really good at getting you in quickly to take care of the problem. Thank you, Taylor Dental!

Working parents, consider this your warning: apparently filling out all the paperwork Taylor Dental…read moresends you ahead of time does NOT mean your child can actually be seen. My 12-year-old had a cracked tooth. I called, was sent the new-patient paperwork, and spent part of my weekend completing and submitting everything online. Her aunt took her to the appointment because, like many working parents, I have a job and thankfully have family who can help. They refused to treat her because I wasn't physically there. So why exactly did you send me paperwork to complete online? If a parent is required to physically attend a minor's first appointment, fine. But that is something you communicate BEFORE the appointment, not after the paperwork has been completed, arrangements have been made, someone else has taken time out of their day to drive the child there, and a 12-year-old with a cracked tooth is standing in your office. She left without being treated. She'd actually been a patient at Taylor Dental before and only switched to Kids Pensacola Dentistry because she needed more extensive dental work. We were told that after age 12 she could transition to an adult dentist, so Taylor Dental was naturally where I planned for her to return. Not anymore. You lost her as a patient, and you lost me as a patient. Great job, Taylor Dental. Played yourselves on that one. And fellow working parents, make sure you can personally leave work before scheduling that first appointment. Apparently completing their online paperwork and having a trusted family member take your child isn't sufficient. God forbid you be a working parent who actually has a support system.

I have mixed reviews about Dr. G's office. First just let me say that he was my 3rd dentist to…read moreconsult with regarding my dental issue (extraction of two lower anterior teeth with a lower bridge and crowns). Due to the location of the extractions and the replacement bridge with crowns, my case was a bit complicated. The first try, I was not happy with the shade or shape of the bridge. Dr. G removed the bridge, had the lab come in and address my concerns and delivered a perfect bridge. I would give the Dr 5 stars. My concern with the office is a reflection on the staff and the cleanliness. Carlos and Sherry were fantastic, both appeared to go over and above what was expected. There appeared to be stress between other assistants who may not have been carrying their weight. Cleanliness was also a concern. Being a former RDA I know the importance of keeping exam rooms spotless. Counters appeared not cleaned well, lights were not cleaned well and materials from prior patients remained in the exam room while I was there and Being treated. Loved the Dr and outcome of my case but I was not impressed with his office.

They posted the review to make them look good. They took me for thousands of dollars, after telling me that my dental insurance would cover it.... Not to mention the unstable staff member and the desk clerk that kept informing my husband that all is covered, before anything was started and done my husband continued to walk to the insurance person at the front and every time all is good will take care of it. I never received a refund of any thousands $$$$$ that they own me... DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS OFFICE...

I am submitting this review regarding a dental procedure that took place on 04/02/2025 at Aspen…read moreDental with Dr. Jimenez. I had scheduled an upper wisdom tooth extraction and had opted for IV sedation due to high anxiety and sensitivity around dental procedures. I communicated this choice multiple times before the appointment and had already completed the appropriate paperwork. However, upon arrival, the dental surgeon made several attempts to persuade me to forgo sedation. Despite me stating "no" repeatedly--more than five times--he continued to pressure me, saying things like, "That's like going to sleep for a splinter," that he "didn't feel comfortable sedating me for this," that I'd get a $600 refund, and that the procedure would only take a few seconds. He dismissed my concerns, including fears about hearing drilling or cracking noises. The entire interaction felt manipulative and left me anxious and emotionally vulnerable just before surgery. Ultimately, I did receive sedation, but only after insisting multiple times. The pressure I experienced was inappropriate and felt violating--particularly as a woman and a patient in a vulnerable state. Upon further research, I found that sedation is a common option for extractions. It reminded me of situations where "no" should have been enough the first time. Additionally, the procedure that was described as "just a few seconds" actually took over an hour. I'm writing this review because the dental surgeon's behavior undermined my ability to provide informed consent without coercion. I believe this violates ethical standards and patient rights. I especially want to caution others who may be more passive by nature. Be clear about what you want, and do your research before speaking with this dental surgeon if you're scheduled for an extraction. Don't allow yourself to be convinced otherwise--it is, in fact, unethical for a provider to pressure a patient like this. Had I not been familiar with informed consent and patient rights, I might have given in to that pressure. That said, the rest of the staff at this Aspen Dental location has been amazing. This was my only negative experience. The dental assistant was a godsend--she made sure I was comfortable, gave my husband clear post-op instructions, and kindly listened to my rambling after surgery. She answered our questions thoroughly and with care. The front desk staff and office manager have always been polite and helpful during my visits, and the regular dentist, dental technician, and hygienist have all been respectful, kind, and competent. I'm posting this review simply to offer a heads-up to others who may encounter this same dental surgeon. This was my only negative experience here. The office itself is otherwise great.
