Every warehouse club carries different items along with their own name brand and national branded…read moreitems. First of all, I like coming to BJ's for certain things as they accept American Express payments. Costco does not (Boo!) and I like to use my Amex to rack up miles. So I do prefer shopping at BJ's in that aspect. Secondly, the fact that they have their own coupon book and accept manufacturer coupons are also pluses in my book. Finally, their ExpressPay feature in the BJ's app is a huge time saver especially when I need to get in and get out quickly. It allows you to scan you cart items as you shop and pay in the app before leaving so you can skip the checkout line. Super convenient! I shop at this location as well the one in Fort Lauderdale on Power line Road as that is closer to me, and both locations are 95% of the time never super busy. They have late closing hours which allows you to visit outside of traffic hours and get your shopping done with ease. I usually come for their things like paper towels, detergent, and other household items. Their produce is limited but what they do have is fresh cheaper than Costco. I feel like I definitely save more money here on a lot of grocery and household items over their competitors. My only complaint is that their meat department is lacking. They only sell choice meat, no PRIME meats which have more marbling and more flavor and less fresh seafood items, like branzino or fresh shrimp. During the holidays they do have the seafood cart brought in which is nice and I try to catch them at that time. The aisles are big and signs above the aisles are clearly marked. It's easy to get in, find what you need, and get out, especially with the ExpressPay feature. Did I mention that already {:-)? I wish they would carry more premium and organic items that Costco has though. I would never have a reason to go to Costco if they did. Also the amount of premium items in each department is limited. I also like that you can bring your propane tank for refill. You have to go inside their liquor store to get someone to go to the propane refill station. The outside parking situation can be a mess at times getting into the parking lot and getting out of the parking lot. So much traffic around the area which I why I prefer to go to the Fort Lauderdale location.

If Sonia (the supervisor) was put in this position should learn how to do her job with respect to customers and coworkers.

Something really fun happen to me today. On Monday my mom's TV broke so i bought a Samsung TV in…read morethis BJs in special. Taxes included was like $305, so no expensive. I schedule a pick up for the same day. We got home with the new tv and the old tv was working, so i did not open the new tv box. Today in the morning the old tv broke again. My husband got home and installed the tv on the wall when i got in the room notice the tv in the wall was LG. For a moment i thought is it worth to take the tv back, since i bought a different brand. Take in consideration the box was correct but the tv was not. I though if something happen i will not be able to return it so better do it now. We took the tv from the wall and head back to Bjs. I went to the lady and explained the situation so they start looking at the tv, the box was open in the top because we open it but it had the original tape. Then i notice the bottom did not have the original sealing. They start getting us the look, i felt like i did something, when for real the thing was done to me. They did not allow us to return the item, so i had to take the wrong tv back to my house. No money back or the tv i bought online. I had to go through the trouble of buying the tv installed, deinstalled, take it back only to take it back home, because they have to investigate what happened. The reality is whatever happened was in the store, why would i do all the back and forth for $300??. It is obvious they believe we were trying to change it for another tv or something. This is insane!!! This has never!!!!! happened to me before. BJs get your business together!! I should have come out of that store with the tv i bought or my money back. The investigation is in your side if something happened you can always remove our membership. You have lost my trust, i have had BJs membership for more than 10 years!! Way to go!!!

The check out line was long but it moved efficiently and quickly. There are plenty of Cosco employees working consistently to organize items stacked on the shelves and make sure everything goes where they belong. We will definitely be back again in the near future.
