Actors get on the ride with you so it really keeps you on your toes. The field was just okay. The sets weren't as good and the timing for the walk through just seemed off. Entry took a long time even with purchasing tickets ahead of time. You still have to wait in line and show your QR code to obtain a physical ticket. There's a lot of fun things to do outside of the ticket experience. There was some pretty good livd music and bonfires. There were also occasional fire dancers on a side stage. Food was pretty mediocre. The funnel cake was good but the pumpkin one tasted the same as the regular. The cider was watered down. Overall we had a lot of fun.

Sleepy Hallow was a great thrill for some spooky Halloween fun!…read more I came to sleepy Halloween with my niece and nephew and we had a blast! I was able to purchase tickets ahead a team online and for the three of us it cost about 130.00 to see all the three attractions. At sleepy hallow you can experience the haunted house, the field and the haunted hayride. We decided to check out the haunted house first and I must say the actors did a great job, although I know it was all fake, it still gave me a great scare cause you never knew when some random zombie like person was gonna pop out. The field was fun as well. We walked the corn field while being chased by a crazy chainsaw man. Lastly the hayride was full of scary clowns and zombies popping out the bushes....oh my! Overall it's great for family fun and kids. It's also a good date night vibe. They also offer food such as funnel cake and pizza. They also have an amazing bon fire. I would definitely recommend visiting!

We had a few very weird occurrences happen throughout the night, most notably in the attic and basement, both of which gave off insanely heavy vibes. The staff is amazing as is the old mansion itself, which has been through a myriad of architectural changes throughout the decades. We will definitely be back for a day tour! I'm too chicken to go back for a night tour! Highly recommend!

The YouTube videos looked great and tickets were purchased. After our pre-haunt meal we arrived. The place was lit up nicely, creepy music playing. The actor who gave the instructions was on point, he was creepy, funny and into the festivities that awaited us. So this is by no means a bad review, however, there was just not enough actors to deliver scares. The sets were fantastic, using all the standard fare that all the great places use. That being said, again, just not enough actors within the haunt. We walked through several scenes without seeing an actor. For the price of the tickets (which are on par with much larger places like Penhurst Asylum and East State Penitentiary) Hotel of Horror just does not stack up with the big boys. Would we return? Probably not, for the money, would most likely return to one of the big boys!!!

Very disappointing and intimidating experience…read more We approached this place because we genuinely thought it was a museum or attraction and tried to open the door. Nobody answered. A few moments later, a very large and aggressive man suddenly came out from the right side of the building and started yelling at us, asking what we were doing there. His behavior scared both me and my child. I explained that we thought this was a museum. He asked, "Do you have tickets?" I said no and asked how we could buy them. Instead of explaining anything or helping us, he simply shouted at us to leave immediately. We were not trying to trespass or cause any problems. We were visitors who were confused about how to enter and were trying to understand how to purchase tickets. There was absolutely no reason to treat us in such an aggressive and intimidating way, especially in front of a child. A very unpleasant experience and extremely poor way to treat potential visitors.

Founded in 1981 by author and paranormal investigator Adi-Kent Thomas Jeffrey, Ghost Tours of New…read moreHope offers one-hour walking tours that offer a brief and engaging glimpse into the sometimes-sordid history of New Hope, Pennsylvania at a very reasonable price point. Unlike some other local (and much more expensive) 'ghost tours' that feature costumed actors who jump out of the bushes to scare participants or focus solely on the macabre, Ghost Tours of New Hope offers a more historically-based tour that emphasizes stories of eerie paranormal happenings in this small town on the Delaware River. New Hope is a quaint, historic town on the Delaware River, located approximately halfway between Philadelphia and New York City, featuring art galleries, a range of casual and upscale dining choices, eclectic shopping boutiques, and the Bucks County Playhouse that attracts talent from Broadway and Hollywood. The charming hamlet is often called one of America's most haunted towns with a history dating back to the American Revolution when Aaron Burr allegedly fled to New Hope after dueling with Alexander Hamilton (and some say never left..). Ghost Tours of New Hope offers one-hour walking tours every Saturday night at 8pm from June through November and Friday nights starting in mid-September through Halloween. Tickets are $12 (as of October 2025) and may be purchased in-person from the tour operators with cash or Venmo approximately 30-60 minutes before the start of the tour. There is one route that runs along Ferry Street and one route that runs along Mechanic Street and the Delaware Canal Towpath. Both walking tours begin adjacent to the Parry Mansion Museum and the historic cannon on the corner of Ferry Street and Main Street. Wear comfortable shoes, dress appropriately for the weather, and consider bringing a flashlight as the sidewalks and streets of New Hope can be very uneven. Gratuities are optional and our guide didn't push for them. We'll definitely be back soon for the other route!

In the month of "October only" you can also find tours on a Friday night besides the usual Saturday night. The tours start at 8p and meet on the corner of Main and Ferry Street next to the Parry Mansion Museum. You don't need a reservation. I just walked up and there were two ladies taking money and giving out a paid sticker. Then you just line up with the rest of the tour people. PLEASE BRING CASH! They will also do private tours with advanced notice. My group had over 30 people in it. I suggest getting there at least 30-40 minutes before. The cost is $12. The tour itself is about an hour. Make sure you wear a sturdy pair of shoes. You will be walking down stairs and on dirt paths, and near a canal. These tours have been going on for over 42 years. New Hope has such a fun vibe. Everyone was excited for this tour. Parking in New Hope is a bit tricky. If you can't find street parking, I suggest parking a few blocks away in one of several lots. So I took a trip down to the Field of Terror... located in the middle of nowhere in East Windsor, NJ. There isn't an actual parking lot- you're going to have to park your car in the middle of a field, but there are parking attendants to guide you. And yes, it's free! Luckily the lot is right near the farm so don't worry about walking too far. You can purchase your tickets online or once you get there. I came on a Thursday night 10/24 and there were no lines at all. There's a couple of ticket options depending on how many haunted attractions you want to do. There are 5 in total: Haunted Hayride, Kornfield Maze, Karnival, Timmery Manor, Paintball Wagon Ride. One attraction = $20 Two attractions = $35 Three attractions = $45 Four attractions = $50 Five attractions = $65 We didn't have much time so we only did one attraction, the Haunted Hayride. There was no wait at all, so we were able to get on right away. The entire attraction lasted about 15 minutes. I don't want to spoil anything.... but it was enjoyable. However, coming from someone who is the biggest scaredy cat, I wasn't SUPER spooked... so see for yourself. The farm itself is small and easy to navigate. All of the attractions are close to one another. There were actors walking around and I definitely got a couple of jump scares LOL. They have food stands available at very reasonable prices (mostly carnival/fair-themed food like burgers, fries, funnel cake, hot dogs). Plenty of seating to enjoy your food. There's a merchandise store with cute apparel and goodies. They also have a farmer's market selling some of their produce. Since I only did one haunted attraction, take this review with a grain of salt. Was it worth $20? Ehhhh, not really. But give it a try if you're in the area and see for yourself. Get spooky.
