Entry took a long time even with purchasing tickets ahead of time. You still have to wait in line and show your QR code to obtain a physical ticket. There's a lot of fun things to do outside of the ticket experience. There was some pretty good livd music and bonfires. There were also occasional fire dancers on a side stage. Food was pretty mediocre. The funnel cake was good but the pumpkin one tasted the same as the regular. The cider was watered down. Overall we had a lot of fun.

I was able to purchase tickets ahead a team online and for the three of us it cost about 130.00 to see all the three attractions. At sleepy hallow you can experience the haunted house, the field and the haunted hayride. We decided to check out the haunted house first and I must say the actors did a great job, although I know it was all fake, it still gave me a great scare cause you never knew when some random zombie like person was gonna pop out. The field was fun as well. We walked the corn field while being chased by a crazy chainsaw man. Lastly the hayride was full of scary clowns and zombies popping out the bushes....oh my! Overall it's great for family fun and kids. It's also a good date night vibe. They also offer food such as funnel cake and pizza. They also have an amazing bon fire. We had a few very weird occurrences happen throughout the night, most notably in the attic and basement, both of which gave off insanely heavy vibes. The staff is amazing as is the old mansion itself, which has been through a myriad of architectural changes throughout the decades. We will definitely be back for a day tour! The YouTube videos looked great and tickets were purchased. After our pre-haunt meal we arrived. The place was lit up nicely, creepy music playing. The actor who gave the instructions was on point, he was creepy, funny and into the festivities that awaited us. So this is by no means a bad review, however, there was just not enough actors to deliver scares. The sets were fantastic, using all the standard fare that all the great places use. That being said, again, just not enough actors within the haunt. We walked through several scenes without seeing an actor. For the price of the tickets (which are on par with much larger places like Penhurst Asylum and East State Penitentiary) Hotel of Horror just does not stack up with the big boys. Would we return? Probably not, for the money, would most likely return to one of the big boys!!!

The hayride was so cool because they created scenes with all your favorite horror stars and some you wouldn't expect. The haunted house was definitely more scary than the hayride but still a great experience for my 8 & 9 year old first timers. The actors and staff really went above and beyond to ensure everyone was having a great experience. It was NOT extremely crowded and the attractions took some time to get through which I appreciated. Everything felt thoughtful and well executed. The general area had a DJ and plenty of food trucks to hang out. Easy to spend 2-4 hours here. Highly recommend!

New Hope has some of the most haunted sightings and buildings in a 2 square block and in the country. ( The tours are every Saturday night from the first Saturday in June up to and including the Saturday before Thanksgiving. In the month of "October only" you can also find tours on a Friday night besides the usual Saturday night. The tours start at 8p and meet on the corner of Main and Ferry Street next to the Parry Mansion Museum. You don't need a reservation. I just walked up and there were two ladies taking money and giving out a paid sticker. Then you just line up with the rest of the tour people. PLEASE BRING CASH! They will also do private tours with advanced notice. My group had over 30 people in it. I suggest getting there at least 30-40 minutes before. The cost is $12. The tour itself is about an hour. Make sure you wear a sturdy pair of shoes. You will be walking down stairs and on dirt paths, and near a canal. These tours have been going on for over 42 years. New Hope has such a fun vibe. Everyone was excited for this tour. Parking in New Hope is a bit tricky. If you can't find street parking, I suggest parking a few blocks away in one of several lots. You will do a lot of walking in New Hope. The Staff was all very friendly, knowledgeable and informative. I would definitely recommend this tour.

We saw many younger children that also spent time at the small baby lambs and goats petting zoo. This was a nice added touch. The DJ was also great that played upbeat music. So I took a trip down to the Field of Terror... located in the middle of nowhere in East Windsor, NJ. There isn't an actual parking lot- you're going to have to park your car in the middle of a field, but there are parking attendants to guide you. And yes, it's free! Luckily the lot is right near the farm so don't worry about walking too far. You can purchase your tickets online or once you get there. I came on a Thursday night 10/24 and there were no lines at all. There's a couple of ticket options depending on how many haunted attractions you want to do. There are 5 in total: Haunted Hayride, Kornfield Maze, Karnival, Timmery Manor, Paintball Wagon Ride. One attraction = $20 Two attractions = $35 Three attractions = $45 Four attractions = $50 Five attractions = $65 We didn't have much time so we only did one attraction, the Haunted Hayride. There was no wait at all, so we were able to get on right away. The entire attraction lasted about 15 minutes. I don't want to spoil anything.... but it was enjoyable. However, coming from someone who is the biggest scaredy cat, I wasn't SUPER spooked... so see for yourself. The farm itself is small and easy to navigate. All of the attractions are close to one another. There were actors walking around and I definitely got a couple of jump scares LOL. They have food stands available at very reasonable prices (mostly carnival/fair-themed food like burgers, fries, funnel cake, hot dogs). Plenty of seating to enjoy your food. There's a merchandise store with cute apparel and goodies. They also have a farmer's market selling some of their produce. Situated across from the school, this corner house/yard turned into a haunted experience will blow you away. You can tell a lot has gone into this and they put so much effort into the experience. The best part is that it's free! Yes, no admission fee BUT they do accept donations that they turn around and give to a good charity. Not to take away from the experience and give out the secrets, it's best to see for yourself. You will be happy to experience this. FYI: Parking is located across the street in the school lot.
