In particular they are good in ear cuffs and embellished/sequin dresses but one must remember, MS is a compromise between price and quality and such stuff doesn't last long, this kind of dresses are made mainly to wear once/to look at or one has to be very careful once wearing them. I think this is a good shop when you want something decent/different looking for OK price. You can find some steals there, but you also have to watch out because some items can have the quality at the level of Primark. There is also second MS within Outlet close to Union Square, where you can find a little different range of products. Or you can buy online and have it delivered to the store, which I use quite often. There are sometimes slaw vouchers online, but then again sometimes you will find even better deals in store }:)

From vintage Hermes scarves to beautiful 1950s matching twin sets, this little haven is a must for anyone road tripping up to Aberdeen or looking to buy something a little bit special. It might be a little bit out of the city, but it is truly worth the ride! Housing a wide variety of more modern dresses to classic 1940/50s women's clothing, hats and accessories, this place is perfect for anyone looking to get all dolled up for a special occasion. It is more expensive than the usual vintage places I review, but I have to admit that they have earned it. They have a main dress room, an accessories room and two rooms set aside for wedding outfits - both for brides and for very stylish guests (and mothers!) It may be niche, but gosh darn they have totally nailed it! I love that they know their market and their strengths, and it's really great to see that it was super busy even on a weekday afternoon, which just goes to show that it is a great destination for occasion wear. I'm really happy to share that the staff are really lovely and know a lot about the history of the pieces they're selling (I do love to chat about that whenever I'm buying a second hand piece!) I ended up purchasing my first ever vintage hat here - a ridiculously beautiful powder pink 1940s fascinator complete with the fluffiest ostrich feather I have ever laid eyes on. It's in extremely good condition (to the point I'm certain it's only been worn once or twice and it has been living in a very well to do hat box for the past 70 years) and I was thrilled to bits to learn that was made in bonny Fife! For those of you who are wondering, a treasure like this only cost me £38, but I guess I'm one of the few people who would dare to go out to dinner in one of these still ;)
