History
Established in 1866.
The Begg family started it's business as a shoe making and repair business in New Pitsligo in rural Aberdeenshire in 1866 under the ownership of Alexander Begg, Great, Great Grandfather of the current owners. The business was handed down father to son for 5 generations to the current ownership, the emphasis changing over the years from shoe making to shoe retailing, but never forgetting the underlying values held by all 5 generations of customer service, shoe fitting and quality product,
Currently after a few years of austerity the business consists of our Aberdeen and Forfar stores under the management of Andrew Begg and his sister Katharine McLean.
