I Jd a jalapeño bacon Swiss burger, hubby had a regular cheese burger and mother in law had the avocado bacon burger and we were all shocked by how good this place is. The customer service was excellent. Younger male that worked the front counter and he cleaned up our trays with a smile. The place is pretty cool inside as well. Older building but the booths have outlets for those that need to charge their phones. Definitely come out and give this place a try! While writing this I asked the guy his name and it's Gavin!! Almost a 5 tonight for us. Came in at about 4.33, so had to go to the 4. But it was a hard call for sure. Walked in about 6:45pm, noticed perhaps 8-9 tables and perhaps 4 of those waiting on food. Was greeted quickly and politely and was advised they had a good day and was out of a couple of items. Steak for the Steak Wrap, Mac-n-Cheese and Turkey for the Turkey Wrap. No worries. They close at 8pm, they are establishing their business and volume, and we were going to have burgers anyway ... Ordered and paid at the counter and took a seat at a close by table. We ordered a basic burger, a Jalapeño Burger, two fries and a side Caesar salad (a chicken Caesar, with no Chicken), a couple of iced teas and a peach smoothie. The smoothie, teas and salad were served almost immediately. Smoothie was very good, as was the Caesar salad. The burgers came out shortly and were well presented, with all the fixins on the side. The fries, while tasty, were a tad too greasy. It could be that the oil needs to be changed ... Burgers were good and cooked perfectly. The Jalapeño Burger was made with fresh sliced Jalapeños. Nice. We went back and got a Peach-Pineapple and a Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie. Both were ok, but enjoyed the just Peach one the most. All were a good size serving too. Pleasant staff, working hard, seemed clean in the dining room and what we could see of the kitchen. Dining room could use some personality, which will come with some time and regular business. We will be back. Wonder if you can get a just Strawberry Smoothie? Finished up and left about 7:15pm as some folks (4-5) were coming in and heard him tell them they were down to two burgers and out of ... Honestly, I like fresh food, so for them to run out of a few items close to closing time, makes me feel better about their operation. I used to frequent a place in Columbia, SC called Motor Supply Bistro. They had a chalk board menu and as they sold out, they'd cross through it. Seems efficient to me, especially for a local place trying to make it in a location that is a little out of the way. At least that got a larger sign than the previous place! read more

Incredible food, best burger and fries in Midlothian. Wraps are great too. This is the perfect diner, wish their name wouldn't throw so many people off, they deserve all the business. We keep hearing from friends and people around town how great the food is here. I even saw a post about it yesterday and said we need to try this place out! The service was really good. The young man who took our order was kind and informative. The young lady was super attentive and came to our table multiple times to check on us. It's a cute little hole in the wall with a name that can throw you off. Simple, no frills. We ordered 3 cheeseburgers, fries, tea, soda and water. All of it was great! Don't let the name fool you...they are so much more than smoothies. The owner also runs one of the highest rated BBQ restaurants in Ellis county so the menu, although currently limited, has stellar options. The smash burgers are exquisite and there are daily specials that beef them up (pun intended) if you so choose. The staff VERY attentive and will bring you everything you desire. Being close to the gym and grabbing a smoothie, with added protein, is awesome for before or after a workout. The tables are sufficiently spaced so you do not feel overcrowded. I went in yesterday morning to get a green smoothie with my daughter. The green smoothie was delicious and tastes very fresh! It was perfect for this hot weather. I highly recommended this place if you're looking for nutritions smoothie or other options. I'll definitely be back to try the breakfast wrap and lunch options !!
