I really wanted to like Ono Grindz, especially with a concept rooted in Hawaiian culture, but…read moreunfortunately the experience didn't reflect that at all. From the moment we walked in, the two employees working didn't greet us or acknowledge us, and their demeanor made it feel like we were inconveniencing them just by being there. There's a big difference between basic customer service and true hospitality and this place missed both. There were also some frustrations with how orders are handled. The business charges an extra $2.50 for maybe a tablespoon of gluten-free granola, but doesn't adjust pricing if ingredients are removed or unavailable. I understand most businesses don't do this but it sometimes evens out when items are removed and unavailable. For example, I was told after ordering that they were out of coconut, which was supposed to come on my item. I was asked if that was okay, but realistically, what's the alternative in that moment? It just felt like another instance of paying for something I didn't receive. At one point, the employee preparing our order walked past us multiple times without acknowledgment to speak with her coworker, which added to the overall feeling of being ignored. A place inspired by Hawaiian culture should carry some sense of "aloha", warmth, welcome, and care. Unfortunately, that was completely missing here. We won't be returning, and that's disappointing because the concept has so much potential.

Made the 15-minute drive south down 67 to Venus to see what the hype was all about. Y'all, I'm glad…read morethat we made the drive. Venus is a very small city but Wonder Woman Kitchen Creation is gonna put them on the map for foodies! They have a varied simple menu of bbq, chicken, fish and burgers. They do each one very well! We ordered the fish with hookem fries, the hookem mac, the brisket burger and a side of mac. The food was good and hot! They tell you that's going to be 25-30 minutes and I'm okay with that because that means my food will be hot and fresh. The portion size was perfect for me. I'm getting two meals out of one plate!!! Go visit Mohammed and his family and try their food! You won't be disappointed. They are good people with their hearts in the right place.

Both were great. The pancakes were soft and tasty. My hash was probably the best. I make something similar and eat with rice. The owner stopped by to rave on the resturant lol he did say that some of the peppers they buy back home in Mexico and use only that to make parts of thier dish. Authentic here!

I felt like I was in a school cafeteria because of this. I will say the music was nice and at a suitable volume. It was not played so loud that it interfered with conversation, especially if you wanted to eavesdrop on the table next to you. The menu was very limited. Food service was very slow. When the food finally arrived it was dried out and overcooked. My shrimp looked like it was cooked over a campfire like a marshmallow, complete with a black charred covering. Staff was very nice. Margaritas were pretty good. If you want to drink a lot, you should have plenty of time to drink 2-3 overpriced drinks before your food arrives. Wait staff is good about returning to see if you need another drink. I will certainly not be returning.

A great find serving up great Mexican dishes with a slight twist. Good portions and reasonably priced served by friendly staff members. Complimentary chips and salsa just kept coming and the salsa was awesome! Our meals came piping hot from the kitchen and mine came on a sizzling platter! Absolutely tender and perfectly seasoned steak fajita! That's was from our first visit. On our next visit I had the Steak Hawaiian fajitas again! I just keep coming back to it because it's just that good! I will try something else the next time!!!

I've come to this place more than once. I usually don't have an issue with the place. The small…read moresalad starts at $9.95 and goes up from there. If you want protein it can range from I think $3-almost $5? And if you want avocado then you pay another $2. So it's a little pricey than a salad you'll get somewhere else but you also are customizing it. The only thing I always notice though is the staff always look like they don't wanna be there. They usually aren't very welcoming as well. Today one of the staff members was eating close to the line. Do they not get a lunch break? My husband saw one of the staff members eating bread, a small bowl of noodles and a drink by the register. Idk that just looked off to me. Anywho, The salads are a little pricey but they are also pretty big portions even if you're getting a small.
