Via email the customer service seemed wonderful. I was informed I didn't have to call to schedule early -but to just call 30 min ahead and that I could pay for it by phone. A couple of months later, my mom needed the ride. I wanted to make sure she got it I called really early -early early morning like around 3-5am (it's been a few months so I don't exactly remember -but I hadn't realized they closed -thinking they had a call center that functioned 24 hrs). The guy answered and seemed upset. I explained I was in a different time zone and apologized for waking him up. I explained my mom needed a ride at 8am. He told me to call back at 7:30 -I did. When I called he was already giving someone else a ride from the airport -I guess they only have one working car/driver... he said he'd call me back if he could make it to my moms. At 7:45 I started to get worried. I called all the different numbers I could find online for GK, most didn't answer, some were forwarded to the original number I'd called (I could tell because when I was forwarded the voicemail was the same). It was nearly 8 and this guy still hadn't called me back and was obviously avoiding my calls. I had to reschedule my mom's MD appt to another day. The day went by and they never called me back. I emailed Candace on 4/15 to notify her of what happened -still haven't heard back from this company and don't expect to. I will not bother with them again, really horrible customer service.

I called a couple other places, taxis and other shuttle services, but Midland was the only one able to schedule a last minute pick up so I could make my flight. The driver arrived promptly and was professional and courteous. The shuttle was clean and we made it to the airport on time. They could have charged me anything since I was in a pinch but only charged their standard fee.

Checked out Yelp (thanks) I took a chance on getting a ride to my hotel. Prompt answer around 1am and arrived just before promised. Edward called to give me a heads-up and efficiently delivered me to the hotel. Rick likewise had great communication to return me to the airport later. Neither of these trips were planned well in advanced but Red Raider Rides made my pick-up appointment with a smile and a cheerful attitude. When in the area and needing a ride they will be the first (likely last and only) call to get where I need to be. Thank you Edward and Rick for refreshing customer service. UPDATE 9MAR18 I've used them at least a half dozen times since the original review as have some of my co-workers. Some for rides to Monahans. Today's experience: I was picked up a minute before my appointed time. Always great service. Always available when I need a ride to or from the airport. They take appointments and keep them, not something that's universal in West Texas.

My has husband suggested that he bring them by on his way to work since he lived so close to us. Ruben brought them to our house but charged my husband $40 to have them delivered when he only lived less than six blocks from our house. Do not use this company they will rip you off it only cost us $38 from airport but $40 from his house that's just ridiculous.

The guy who picked me up had been driving cabs in Midland for 14 years and didn't seem to mind putting up with my chatty post flight babble. He was a very sweet guy and I wasn't scared at all driving down the dark and dusty road we had to travel to find where I was going. A piece of advice from the lady who sat next to me while we both waited for our rides...the drivers can take credit cards but would rather not because they get charged per use so they'll tell you their card reader is broken.
