After having accounts with Bank of America and Chase - Regions is a breath of fresh air! They don't bombard you with texts, emails, or junk mail. They have a Customer Service number that's very efficient. You don't have to explain things twice. I've just switched over to their new location on Tamiami Trail at the front of the Barnes & Noble's strip center because it's closer to home. I've received the same excellent service as well. The app has a large delay , is glitchy and allows double transfers so you don't know if your transfer has been processed or not. On one occasion the amount transferred twice and my account went into the negative . Instead of apologizing the bank called and scolded me for transferring money to a different bank implying I had to keep all my money there. It's my money I can do what I want with it . My wife, Child and my parents have accounts here because we liked the idea that it was a community bank but the only community you will feel is a angry woman harassing you for not keeping a minimum balance you were never informed was expected.

My sister had the same amount wired in to her bank account at a different bank and when she noticed the poor exchange rate, her bank agreed to match the market exchange rate. I've been banking at this branch for 20 years (since it was Wachovia) and have multiple accounts and a mortgage. The branch manager told me to get proof the other bank matched the market rate and when I did that I was told by the branch manager that corporate office still won't do anything to correct. I initially called corporate and was told to go the branch office. Basically, I was given the run around and everyone hiding behind "company policy".

I paid MORE than I ever did in California - $300! I filed in February. My return was rejected because the accountant failed to provide one of the required forms that I had downloaded to them. Now I am in default with the IRS on a loan that would have been paid off from the refund and as of April 11 my return has not been accepted by the IRS. Their status is "being processed." I reached out to the accountant and he told me to print out and mail my return to them. Do yourself a favor - hire someone else.
