My CD just matured and I requested they send my funds including interest back to my primary bank account. They stated I have to download paper forms and have it notarized and send it back to them. The only reason a online bank starts to utilize paper for transactions is to delay the process of returning your investment funds. I will not be opening a long term savings account with them because of this practice.
