I said that was not acceptable, and rather than reschedule, the incredibly nasty dispatcher said to call another school, as they don't have the patience. Well, I certainly don't either as a paying customer, and nobody should even consider dropping a penny on this garbage, fly by night, dangerous failure of a school, and their seemingly quite impaired instructors.

Rudy is calm, professional and personable. My son was comfortable with him and also with Jake, the other instructor. He finished the 6-hour sessions and was very comfortable, to the degree that he asked me to go with him as he practiced his driving skills. His test was in December 2025, on a rainy day, during winter break. The two instructors were not available to take him to the test, so George, the owner, took my son to his test! My son passed on his first attempt and is now driving himself to and from school! Every text or phone call has been responded to within minutes! Same pricing or less than other local driving schools. Highly recommend!

They also quoted me a price for my daughter to take lessons and her road test. They scheduled the test. Then right before it they told me it was more money because it was scheduled in Newark. I cannot in good conscience rate any higher, because to put it simply, the instructor is a piece of work. It's hard to drive well when you're forced to listen to a bitter woman talk about some downright bigoted garbage for two hours straight. I'm white, so maybe she'd thought I would be on her side when she talked down to every other race. And she had the nerve to say she wasn't racist during my last session. It was exhausting, I was dreading every lesson after the first one. She loves the sound of her own voice, I would try to make conversation and she would just steer the topic back to herself and her story and her awful opinions. Even if I did happen to agree with her views, it's unprofessional how much she tried to talk politics with me. Well, talk politics at me, not with me. Request her son if you really want to go here, I have heard he's nothing like her and is actually pleasant to be around.

He knew it was my first time driving and made the experience feel safe and encouraging. On my third lesson, I was assigned an instructor named Johnny. From the start, he was aggressive sharply pointing out my mistakes and yelling when I had trouble changing gears. He kept telling me to go over the speed limit, even though there was a car very close in front of me, which felt unsafe. He also told me to keep looking up, but that made it difficult to see the speedometer, which only added to my stress. He would playfully punch my arm during the lesson, but it didn't feel appropriate and came across as unprofessional. Because of this experience, I didn't feel comfortable or supported during the lesson. It made me realize how important it is to have an instructor who is calm, respectful, and professional, especially when you're just starting out. If you decide to go through this driving school, I highly recommend asking for Tom and not Johnny!!
