First impressions last a really long time with me. This new guy came into the gym and I literally watched the owner follow him around the gym and tell him over and over again that the gym closes at 7. He also was standing in his way making for awkward moments of him having to say "excuse me" while looking at him all confused wondering why the owner and his dog is in his face. He handled it well until it was time to leave. Then the owner decided to talk to him like he was stupid because he didnt know where the exit was since the owner had told him he couldnt use the one he did know about. Thats when the new guy got pissed. Asked him what he did for him to treat him so badly. Of course, the owner had no reason to treat him like that so the owner started lying about what he said. Then the guy asked him if he had some stress he needed to work out and if he wanted to roll with him to take out his anger. Of course the owner refused and told him to go to planet fagness. After witnessing such an unprofesssional demeanor from the owner I cant give him my business. No one should. There are plenty of much better gyms in the area and you dont have to worry about the owner following you around and harrassing you.

He is a extremely nice person, easy to talk to, very helpful, outgoing, as well he's a veteran! Mr. Burns offers personal training as well mentorship and is always there to give you advice and help you improve your lifts or any area of fitness you desire. As well he is very good about making sure your payments are correct and if you need to pause your membership for a couple months or longer, Michael is a message away and will do it no problem. About Burns Barbell, My favorite part about this gym is that it's an 24 hour gym that you can access anytime with the swipe of your hand, not to mention also having a speaker you can connect to in the gym. With that the gym is very nice with modern, well working equipment and he is constantly buying new equipment to improve his gym. I've been a member since his previous location and the improvements are truly remarkable. Micheal also has all of the goodies, with a loaded beverage fridge and a snack table with tons of great pre & post workout snacks and drinks.

(I saw it in the fine print, and we took the necessary actions per the contract.) Here we are 3 months later still trying to stop the monthly withdrawals from our account. Not just that, but when we joined, we were promised personal training sessions at no cost. That lasted one visit. Long enough for our withdrawal to clear. We were also told at sign-up that we could bring along our teen daughter and that she would be added to the contract. Last few times we tried to go (with her), they acted like we were breaking the rules. Made it uncomfortable to be there. There's more, but I think you get the picture. Stay away unless you like hemorrhaging money for nothing in return.

I normally work out late at night, but nearly 95% of the time I am there during the day, I have seen bats. And it is only after making a fuss about it do they bother to even do anything.

I also tried to do the heart rate function on the treadmill and it said the program wasn't available. They did have a smith machine and free barbells if you like to do squatting. I think the worst part of the whole experience is when I used the bathroom twice, the seat was up both times and it smelled like pee. They need to assign bathrooms so men don't use the women's and pull the showers out to their own room.

Massage bed turned off after 3 min and I just walked out. Work in the day and evening and signed up a year ago for a 24 hr gym. Started popping after work recently and they have been closed. I finally walked up to the door and saw extremely shrunken hours that serve me zero purpose. No notification. Really shows the scammy nature of planet fitness we all know, where most people pay and don't show up. but to shrink hours as soon as you get an influx of people signing up in January with know notification is wild.

There are tons of different workout machines I never would have even thought of. Then they have unlimited tanning beds, massage chairs, and hydro massage beds. There's also this new feature that helps clear your skin? -- I actually tried that today. It was like a standing up tanning bed. After I was finished with it the people said the floor was supposed to shake. That didn't happen with me. But I'll continue to use it to see if there's any improvements with the clarity of my skin. The staff are all super friendly and helpful. They're right when they say it's a "judgement free zone." I definitely feel comfortable and excited to get fit at this Planet Fitness!
