Shout out to Samantha and Madison -who were my son's first teachers and helped him grow so much. Another shoutout to Devi and the newer Samantha for already teaching SO MUCH since the start of this new school year. Their program and curriculum has so much to offer. We have been here for Preschool, now Pre-K, and will likely stay for Kindergarten. If we are still living here, I will enroll my daughter when she is ready for preschool.

Even being in Kindergarten half a day, the rate was still almost $1000 a month there and I was leery of what she was "picking up" there when she came home one day and said "whatchu talking about bruh?" Uh, no. Luckily, Playtime had an opening and I got her in. She LOVES it here. She loves the teachers and they keep her busy after school. Rates are very reasonable and there's a good mix of teachers. They make crafts and get to play outside when it's nice. This place isn't closed on every bank holiday, like a lot of daycares are, and I really think she's getting better care here because they do not accept vouchers. That's just my opinion. Everyone pays out of pocket for their child's care. She'll be in first grade in the fall but will still come to Playtime after school.

The monthly Tuition is payment for education you received ,when you are not a student what is " tuition" for? As for the prepaid May tuition that was said possibly refundable, don't count on it. With 3 ~ 4 head count in a class, even if there is a new comer, he won't fall into your vacant slot. Although they are certainly not in business to make it a pleasant family experience, I am not saying their program is totally worthless.My child enjoyed it when he was there. But honestly if you live in( or are moving to) Mason, with a parent stay home, preschool doesn't make any sense. The 2 .5 hrs a day kindergarten is just gonna be another year of preschool. With kings Island at the door step, union terminal museum center 30 mins away, Cincinnati zoo 15 mins away there is plenty things to do for little ones. If you want to give your preschooler some social and educational enrichment, Mason library has wonderful story time program. Mason Community Center is very kids friendly and they also provide some session based preschooler enrichment classes. It does not make any sense to tie down you daily schedule to the 2.5 hrs span drop-off and pick up hustle.

The staff is loving and well educated, the community of families is tight knit and diverse, and my children have not only gotten a solid foundation for future academic success-- they're also learning to be good citizens of the world. KHMC truly follows the philosophy of Maria Montessori and encourages children to talk through their conflicts and share the "peace rose," for example, rather than forcing an insincere apology, which preschoolers aren't developmentally ready for. The focus on letting kids have some autonomy also really fires up their curiosity about learning. I can't imagine a better start for my kids in their educational journey.

The front office staff is extremely rude, with exception to those they "really" like. It is really disheartening that as an organization, there is a vast difference based on paying status. It should be about the children, giving them the foundation. Not on how the funds are being received by the parents.
