Reducing to 3 stars due to the soliciting they allow at the entrance/exit of the gym. Hate being…read moreheckled for money while I'm dripping sweat and just trying to go home.

I canceled my membership in person at the Crunch Fitness Kenwood location in August 2025, exactly…read moreas required by their cancellation policy, due to an upcoming surgery and extended recovery. Despite following their process correctly, I was still charged monthly from September 2025 through April 2026. When I contacted them, management confirmed in writing that my membership had, in fact, been canceled back in August. So they were clearly aware my account was closed, yet instead of contacting me about any supposed issue, they continued billing me month after month. I was then told the charges were for personal training, which I reasonably believed had been canceled along with my membership. Again, I canceled IN PERSON with their staff. There's no reasonable explanation for canceling a membership while leaving other services active without clearly disclosing that at the time of cancellation. Even after all of this was acknowledged, the personal training manager refused to refund the $930 that was charged after my cancellation. This is completely unacceptable. I followed their cancellation policy, and they continued taking money from my account anyway. It feels like a tactic to keep charging customers under the guise of a separate personal training contract, rather than clearly canceling everything at the time of membership termination. Based on my experience, I would not recommend joining Crunch Fitness.

I have been there for about 6 weeks now and absolutely love this place. The 45 minute workout…read morechanges every day, is challenging but can be done by all Fitness levels. I was scared the first time, as I did not want to be drilled like in a real Bootcamp. You will be challenged but not humiliated in front of others. I think I never enjoyed a training as much as this one and I even feel weird/bad when I don't go. My body started feeling so much better within a few times going... And yes, Trisha also provides you with nutritional guidance which I appreciate. Would recommend this to anyone :) ~~~~~ Update: 6 months later, I am still in love!!! I think my friends think I a crazy as I talk about how much I enjoy going to my Bootcamp sessions :)

This is a great workout! I love being challenged, and I definitely am at Cincinnati Fit Body Boot…read moreCamp! Although I consider myself to be in relatively good shape, my muscles were very sore the day after my first workout, which tells me that the 45 minutes were well spent! The instructor is very helpful, and is quick to correct my form when I am not doing something correctly. Unfortunately this is not true of all boot camps, as a more expensive boot camp I did recently never corrected my form in the month I was there (and I know I couldn't have been doing everything right!). I like that they also give you a comprehensive nutrition plan, and many helpful suggestions, recognizing that diet is important if you truly want a healthy body. This is a great place for the novice or the experienced!

I don't remember what my first workout was, but I do remember hearing it and thinking "How do I get…read moreout of here?" I thought I was a goner. But it turns out that when I (or anyone) can't do the workout of the day as "prescribed", the workout can be modified. The point is to push yourself and the coaches know all the great ways to "scale" a workout to meet the athlete where they're at (whether due to strength, flexibility, or injury-related limitations) and while still employing the intended stimulus of the workout (like by doing jumping pull-ups rather than regular pull-ups; or ring rows rather than jumping pull-ups; or nearly-standing ring rows rather than ring rows; etc.). In the nearly 3 years I've been going there, the focus on "constantly varied" exercises, along with plenty of focus on nutrition (not in the classes, per se, but through challenges and general conversations), has enabled me to drop about 40 pounds of weight and 6" to 8" of waist-line, and am still continuing the effort! Also in those three years: I conquered the climbing rope; I can almost string together multiple "double-unders" (jump rope going under your feet twice in a single jump); took about 2:30 - 3:00 off of my 1 mile run time; nearly achieved a 400 pound deadlift; and so much more! Plus, I've made friends and have also done "drop-ins" at other CrossFit gyms when traveling (in the U.S. and other countries) and find the global community to be nearly as welcoming as CrossFit Cincinnati has always been. Being able to get off the couch without bracing myself against pain in my knees, being able to squat down to pick up after my dog or to manage laundry using my front-loading washer and dryer, being able to kneel and get a good bow in my shoelace, being able to serve as "muscle" for my wife who needs bags of dirt and other heavy-and-sometimes-awkward items moved around so she can do the gardening she likes to do, being able to go up stairs without getting winded... All of this (and more) has come from CrossFit and the terrific (and caring) coaches at CrossFit Cincinnati!

Let me start by saying that CrossFit has literally changed my life. After having back surgery six…read moreyears ago and packing on a few pounds over that time frame; I never thought I would be able to do the things I'm doing today. My wife dragged me, kicking and screaming, into a CrossFit box and I was immediately hooked. It's actually like joining a tribe of people passionate about seeking ultimate fitness and pushing themselves to their limits. We travel a lot for our children's sports and recently found ourselves in Cincinnati. My wife found a box, made a call, and we dropped into this specific CrossFit. Everyone went over the top to make us feel welcome and Rainer provided corrections as if we were members of his crew. We can't say enough about the hospitality we received at this location and we will stop by again next year during soccer season. We HIGHLY recommend this box! We even purchased shirts to show appreciation and to show support for such a wonderful group of athletes. Keep up the good work team and thank you for taking us in.
