The partial hospitalization program provides a variety of counseling and behavioral therapies from multiple staff members. They separate participants into two groups - mental health and addictions. This way you're placed in a group with people facing similar issues. They provide tools, training and positive motivation that helps empower the participant. They also provide onsite clinic psych support for medication (optional). Friends and family highly recommended this program but I was hesitant with the lack of reviews. I feel I owe it to Arbour to let them and those in need know, that this program was excellent. Give it a chance, be open to the help. Insurance covers most. I don't know what the negative reviews are for but keep in mind, the folks in these programs have a variety of mental health and addiction problems. My only regret is not finding this place sooner for my loved one. It was truly life-changing and I've witnessed a transformation. Thank you all!

They are a for profit business, and as such conduct no patient satification evaluations. After 6 months, I am finally sharing here. I am a public health professional, with years using the mental health system. If I could report them to the MA DPH licensing body without sharing my name, I would. They use the "flip 'em and ship 'em" model of healthcare delivery. I found the Nurse Prescriber, who has an adminstrative role in the corporation disorganized and sarcastic. I found the Woburn Program Director unwilling to provide reasonable answers to reasonable questions regarding reimbursement issues. I found the rotating cast of licensed mental health counselors who put on psycho-education sessions ok and in some cases skilled, but they had no grasp of adult learning theory. The one on one sessions with your case worker lead no where, in terms of accessing appropriate follow up care with someplace other than them. Pe ople were well meaning, but not effective. The physical plant and location left a lot to be desired. Would never recommend anyone use the services of the corporate mental health provider, unless like me, it was the only place their insurance covered.
