I was called by Junior who asked if I could take MY REVIEW DOWN. He finally came across with the quote for 2024. Of course the work had changed so I needed a new one WHICH I did get in a timely manner. He suggested I meet with the interior decorator person for color ideas. She came, we chose colors and she sent all the color names back to him in April I believe. Now its the 2nd week of June. Has my painting started? AGAIN HELL NO! Has anyone contacted me with a date HELL NO! I contacted Junior again earlier this week with still NO RESPONSE! I would say STAY CLEAR OF TARGET PAINTING! Two+ years is a long time to wait for house painting.

Flashy branding, terrible workmanship. I hired them to do some interior work including fixing…read morecracks and peeling paint on the ceiling, caulking gaps in the woodwork, and painting woodwork. They took my deposit at the beginning and it was almost 2 months after that before the work was even on the schedule. I am not a bank. The caulking and painting looked ok-ish right after they completed it, but then the paint peeled in a few days, and they had to come back to do it again. It peeled a second time and they had to come back again. Now almost a year later everything they "fixed" has peeled and cracked again, including cracks in the plaster, gaps in the woodwork, and peeling paint, and now I am back to square one, except a few thousand dollars poorer. Further, their paint work on my crown molding has visible brush marks on one section but stipply roller texture on another run of crown right next to it, so you see a sharp contrast in paint texture and luster they way the light hits it. I have given up on making them come back at this point to warranty their work. I need a contractor to do it right the first time, not come to visit me every two months to redo their work again and again. They had five stars on here, I don't know how that is possible. Sorry, I've seen 5 star paint work and this ain't it.

In March a good friend of mine called me up and said that he found a good painter for me for the…read moreright price. He also recommended that I would do it right away. I called Josh and talked to him about my house that is huge and old; as I told him, I needed to repair the windows before the paint job could be completed. Josh said that he knew a carpenter who could do the windows and would paint the house after the repairs were done. As it turned out, I needed to get 27 windows fixed. So I had a bargain, a good carpenter who was ready to go up three stories to get my windows on the top floor and a painter who was going to paint my three-decker. Eventually, J&J came after all the repairs were completed and painted my house in 10 days. They were extremely efficient, professional, and pleasant to deal with. They answered my concerns by scraping, sanding, and caulking all surfaces. They used primer and good paint. Some of my neighbors came over to Josh to ask him whether he could paint their houses too. There was no drama, no mess. They told me in advance to inform other residents not to use the common area for a day or two. I definitely hope to hire them for inside jobs and recommend them for outside painting.
