The liner was the wrong size and that was corrected, but I'm still missing two upright pieces. The bowling green office where I purchased the pool would not return my calls. Eventually, they told me to call and speak with Jim at the Cookeville office and I've left multiple messages with no returned call. At this point, I just want the pool gone and my money back. It seems like the company is a mess. Got a call back immediately this morning from bowling green manager!!! Thank you!!

The house tour was done by separate guides in each room so the guide stays and you move on. It was efficient and well done. The guides are very knowledgeable and were able to answer all of our questions. We had about 9 people in our group so ample space in each room to move around and check out the artifacts. It's an open concept so not much is roped off (just some of the side rooms) but the main room you are free to roam in which gives you an up close view to everything. No photography inside the mansion. For those that complete the tour, there is a free wine tasting where we tasted 4 wines. They were all sweet and pleasant to taste on our warm day. Be sure to find Alibi and Norman, the resident horses. They like a good scratch. We also enjoyed the charcuterie tray in the wine bar as a lunch snack. Staff was very friendly and so helpful. Meantime, asked Scott to proceed with measurements of specific windows since the house was open and I didn't need to be there for that part. My day was extremely challenging and I considered rescheduling but realized I had not saved Scott's number, did not know which office he worked out of. I initially, called a general Budget Blinds number that rang to a central scheduler. However, got there 45 min late. Scott greets me with sarcasm "that was hardly 30 minutes." I apologized again and shared a little about my day, 84 yr old mom in rehab with broken leg, business very wild and so much going on today! Scott replied, "common courtesy would have helped." Apparently, my sincere apology wasn't good enough for him. I was so offended by his lack of empathy, disregard for my personal choice to afford him the chance to earn my business and the fact that he made me feel reprimanded. I reminded Scott that I apologized and it appeared that he wanted to argue and rudely said "so do you want to just move on?" I thanked Scott for his time, said no thanks and left. What a horrible memory that occurred in the Kitchen of my new home! If this type of attitude is acceptable to Budget Blinds, who needs them? Certainly, not me.

I did not visit the museum to see the Athena sculpture, however, I plan to when I return. You have the option to purchase a ticket for a guided tour or pay for admission and explore on your own. The Parthenon at Centennial Park is the world's only exact-size and detail replica of the original temple in Athens, Greece. Nashville took advantage of its nickname "Athens of the South" and built the Fine Art Building as a copy of Athens' most famous building.

It was hard for the youngest kiddo to remain behind the line while inside the house, but we managed to get through it without causing too much trouble! :) The older lady guide downstairs was very strict, and the young one upstairs was so chill. We enjoyed the lush garden outside in the backyard; that's also where the President was buried. The video introduction at the museum when you first enter was very interesting, and good preview of his life and legacy. Stopped by the gift shop to get some souvenirs and toys for the kids. Everyone walked away happy!

I live for April when I finally get to start my pepper plants and adore the heat of July and August when okra is popping off my plant like crazy. Went to Home Depot (actually went to 3 Home Depot's!) and they had maybe 3 lettuces to choose from all of which were wilty and oh so sad looking. Don't get me wrong - HD rocks at spring veggie starters, just not fall ones I learned. Called around to a few garden centers in my area and Moore was actually the last one I called. Wish it were the first. Vicky who answered the phone was smiling (I could tell in her voice), kind, friendly and so helpful! She even went to check to give me an exact list of all the veggie starters they had in stock. Tons, btw! Carrot, kale, turnips, cauliflower, broccoli, cabbage, beets, other leafy greens and some fall herbs. I ended up stopping by about an hour after I called. The place is AMAZING! Great selection of garden decor, soil and gardening tools, along with furniture for outdoors and I believe any plant or tree you could possibly think of to plant. I was there early so not tons of customers yet but about 10 workers. All in masks. All chatting with one slither and laughing (they clearly love their job and who they work with). All asked me if I needed assistance. In the end as I surveyed by fall veggie options, I came to the sad realization that living in an apartment with a balcony/container garden, fall veggies aren't for me. They need so much more space to grow and it wouldn't suit my space well. But once I buy a house in the next few years and get my giant dream garden going - this will be my one stop shop. His quick advice for calculating what we needed, was happy to estimate cost to compare the design pieces I was considering and helped get us someone to pull off the top shelves.
