    DO NOT EVER THINK ABOUT GETTING THEIR SERVICE!…read more If I could give this company negative stars, I absolutely would. This has been the worst experience I've ever had with any service provider. The sales department? Oh, they're quick to answer the phone. But customer service? Feels like they're using their own internet. Slow, useless, and beyond frustrating. You're forced through a maze of automated menus just to end up waiting 45 minutes on hold for someone who never answers. I requested their service on Thursday, June 19, 2025. The earliest installation date they had was Tuesday, June 24. So I waited four days. On that Tuesday around 3:30 PM, I got an email saying my service was activated. I got home at 4:15 PM, followed the instructions to set up the router, waited 15 minutes, nothing. Restarted it, unplugged it, tried everything. Still nothing. I called customer service, wasted 10 minutes navigating their ridiculous phone system, and finally reached technical support, only to be told by a robot that I'd have to wait 45 minutes to speak to someone. I waited 14 minutes before realizing this was total BS, grabbed my keys, went straight to Verizon, and got home internet for a better price. No upfront fees, no connection charges, just plugged the router into the wall, waited 5 minutes, and boom, 398 Mbps. That's 338 more than CenturyLink was offering me for just $10 more. Then it gets worse. I go online to cancel the CenturyLink service, which never even worked, and they have the nerve to charge me $28 to disconnect a service I never had, on top of the $50 deposit they already took from me. This company is a complete scam. A rip-off. They should be investigated by the authorities. Stay far away from CenturyLink. There are much better options out there. This one is a total disaster.

    bullshit service!!!! tried to cancel my service and says it doesn't recognize my phone number…read more can't get anyone live to talk to. they won't even set up a payment plan. i struggle financially and they won't work with you to make paying the bill easier. if i ever get internet again it'll be from a different company. i'll read the reviews first before deciding on a internet company. i strongly recommend not doing business with century link!!!!!!!
