The class with Jason Hosaka was awesome!! It was informative and engaging with some humor thrown in. He KNOWS his stuff!! It was an equally welcoming environment for men & women. The chairs were comfortable and the short breaks timely. I am very grateful for a company who uses their deep knowledge and experience to better equip average law-abiding citizens, like me. I feel much more confident with my weapons than I did when I walked in.

Today's (8/10/19) LTC class was far more thorough than your average LTC class. I compared my experience with my sister and she said, "wow, you got to do more and cover more than I did in mine." Thank you to Julie, Mr Ramsey, Mr Grady, Chief Combs, Mr Combs and the rest of the staff I failed to mention. It was a great experience and I promise to send friend yours way who are interested. I look forward on taking continuing education classes/ simulator time with Epic in the future. Thank you again!!!

We went there for our Texas LTC certification and received it, but this center gave us so much more than just the course certification. I now understand the real personal/legal ramifications of being involved in an actual shooting incident, how to safely handle my weapon, alert law officers that I'm legally carrying, when and where to carry, and so much more. I very highly recommend this course to everyone-- even if you don't get an LTC. The trainers really are EPIC!! Epic Training and Tactical defense center is the place to go!

I have been/am a Member here, as well as other ranges in central DFW, for a few years…read more This Range USA location is the best that I have experienced in central DFW. Jacob and his entire staff are very professional and welcoming to both Members and Guests. The RSOs here keep things very safe without being overbearing, which can be a tough task at a lot of ranges. But their clientele, like me, seem to be pretty normal courteous shooters, which is great too! I highly recommend Range USA - NRH! WJF in Bedford

Grant was able to accommodate the short timeframe we had and did an exceptional job of planning hybrid training sessions covering the handgun, holster and rifle used by the law enforcement agency to which my grandson is applying. Excellent instruction and a genuinely valuable training experience…read more What stood out most was the instructor's deep understanding of movement, structure, and the "why" behind performance not just running drills. The session gave me a clear picture of where my strengths are and what I need to refine next. We worked through transitions, pacing, and confirmation levels in a way that pushed both speed and accountability, and the coaching was thoughtful without being overwhelming. I especially appreciated how adaptable the training was. I brought several different platforms and ran iron sights intentionally, and the instructor met me exactly where I was focusing on fundamentals, body mechanics, and efficiency instead of forcing a one-size-fits-all approach. If you want someone who blends technical knowledge with practical application and creates a professional, positive environment, I highly recommend training here with Grant. Great communication, great energy on the range, and I walked away with clear, actionable homework to keep improving.

Would give 0 stars if I could. After I looked on Gun Broker I contacted them to see if I could buy…read morea Colt M4 on Gun Broker and then just pick it up vs having it shipped. I was told that it can't be done yet I did that very thing when I lived in a Phoenix. I won the item and they just invoiced me the gun and tax and I picked it up. OK...no big deal. I was told I could go to the actual local store and buy it there. Website said there were 49 in stock. I drove 40 minutes only to find out that in stock means their warehouse not physical store. Strike 2. So, now I just decided to order it online, pay for it, and pick it up at the store when it arrived from the warehouse. I received a confirmation email for the order, then another one saying the order was processing once payment cleared, then today I got an email stating the order was canceled because of a price glitch on Gritr's end. No attempt to contact me first to see if I wanted to pay the difference or just eat the $90 difference in price. Just a cancellation and a sorry for the inconvenience. I replied to the customer service email and no response. I highly recommend not doing business with them. They lost a $1,000 plus sale over a $90 price difference on a price they listed. Stick to Academy, Scheel's, or Texas Gun Experience.
