THE COMBO CLASS I would highly recommend taking the "Introduction to Handguns and LTC/CHL Combo Class" for both beginners and anyone looking to refresh their skills. I was blown away by how easy-to-understand the information was, and it honestly didn't feel like I was there for 10hrs. What to Expect: ALL THE THINGS Get ready to learn about self-defense, the law, safety, storing, cleaning, handling, shooting, stance, grip, mechanics, and my favorite part: ALL THE SCENARIOS! Obviously you can't cover ALL the scenarios in a day, HOWEVER I felt like I walked away from this training with total confidence and awareness of what to do and how to act in daily activities and situations that I will likely find myself in or could find myself in. With all his experience using and carrying a gun, he is easy going and helps you to feel confidant in completing the class including the range test. He does not just give you the information, but helps you to understand what is intended by the rules and laws. Tips: Get there a few minutes before class begins to settle in and find a seat that's close to the open end so you can use the RR or get coffee. Bring a snack to help you through the 6 total hours. Be prepared to travel to Winchester Range in FW for the shooting test. Don't stress about the tests. Practice and pay attention, and you'll be certified before you know it.
