We just had our ford explorer 2015. At the midas on reynolds rd. First off they never called us to tell us what was wrong with the vehicle. Two I have car shield and they refused to use car shield parts. Three they change a perfectly good air filter that just had changed. And never said a word to us. We were changed 604.00 when it only should have costed us 250.00. I will never take my vehicle back to them. And I won't recommend them either. read more

Took my car to the Midas in Maumee Ohio. My car was inspected and I was told I needed a new catalytic converter for $2500. something told me to take my car somewhere else for a second check. I'm so thankful I did. I needed a new flex pipe that cost me a few hundred dollar. Beware of these large chains. This would have been a total ripe off. read more

Horrible! Got an oil change and they had oil fingerprints ALL over the outside of my car on both sides! Dirty feet, muddy feet print on the inside of my car,on the running boards..every where! On my steering wheel! Unprofessional! I talked to Mgr and he said oh well! Never gonna go back! read more

Took truck in for a routine oil change, my truck was running fine before it was taken end to midas was scheduled for a oil change. Had a appointment scheduled at 12pm did not get out of midas until 3:10 pm when I was driving the truck it was smelling like oil and coolant burning and I noticed that the temperature gauge was not moving at all so I took it back to Midas on monroe street in Toledo one of the techs stated to bring the truck back in the morning because the head technician was not in and will be there in the morning when I returned this morning the rude manager TIM HUGHES, TIM HUGHES Stated that there was a coolant leak and they filled it without my permission or even notify me while I was waiting for my truck to be serviced Now I my truck is not running properly and all TIM Hughes can say is take us to court after screwing up my Truck. This is sad because I have a nephew that works for Midas and now all of my faith that I have had is completely gone. I will continue everyday to write a review on line of the horrible customer service that was received at this location and will never recommend Midas to Anyone and everyone that I come in contact with i will tell this story to so they can tell it to their friends and so on read more

In 2019 I had brand new rotors and pads put on my 2015 Yukon Dinali. 23,000 miles later my pads are bad and they suggest I replace the pads and the rotors. The pads are supposed to be lifetime warranty, however they damaged my rotors. after spending over $500 in 2019 they want me to do it all over again. Devon the manager of Midas Muffler was one of the worst people I've dealt with in a very long time. Oh, Midas. Home of the $250 oil change. I made an online appointment to take my truck in for an oil change. It's an older truck (2008) with high mileage (215k). I had purchased it the same week as a work truck but live in Florida so wanted to get the fluids changed before I drove it down. I had checked the oil at purchase and knew it needed an oil change. So fast forward to two days later: the tech pulls the dipstick out with clearly little...finesse...and the dipstick brought the tube with it. I get it, it's an older truck, things happen. But then, not only did they refuse to fix it, they acted like they didn't even know if it could be fixed, yadda yadda. So I'm annoyed but I get back on the road...and the car doesn't want to drive correctly. It's not accelerating, I'm smelling fuel, it's a disaster. But I chalk it up to "one more freaking problem with a new purchase" because all they touched was the oil system so why would I be having fuel or transmission issues? Though I did attempt to call Midas but they closed at 6. Well, Steve's Auto in Perrysburg will find out why: in the rush to get me out of their waiting room, Midas forgot to reconnect my mass airflow sensor. This sensor reads how much air comes into your engine and tells it how much gas to put out for a ratio that gives you mpg above, in my truck, 3.7 on that day. So my truck could have oil leaking, I have fuel being dumped for no reason, and now I have a $250 repair that sets me back two days of travel time as I wait on parts to come in what Midas screwed up. Tl; dr: Midas broke stuff, left sensors hanging out, sent me on my way. Another mechanic charged me $250 to fix the problem. read more

I would not recommend this location for any service. They are rude and inconsiderate. They are more concerned with judging what you are diving then actually preforming the service. I do not normally get butt hurt over words, but they actually made so many comments that I had to say something. Went in for an alignment, got bashed because i was not driving a fancy new jeep. Nothing honest about this place, if only I could give 0 stars. I spoke with my brother-in-law after going here and he explained how much they'd played me. Went in for 4 new tires (on an AWD vehicle ALWAYS changed together) and an alignment. They told me I needed just 2 tires and new shocks (on a 2014 Japanese made car- not likely). Being there with my 3.5 year old and newborn ahead of a big road trip I said sure whatever they needed to do. When I drove out 3.5 hours later my car still pulled to the left (alignment was fudged) and had new shocks which shouldn't have had to be replaced, 2 new tires which if not paired with 2 more will eventually wear out the suspension of my car. I imagine if I were a man or had some knowledge of cars (or had my brother in law on the phone) I would have avoided such dishonesty and shoddy work but alas, I thought that I could trust a national brand like Midas, not the case. Do not come here unless you know exactly what you want and are willing to fight to get it. read more
