I went here to get a broken lug nut fixed on my Honda Crosstour. Moe at the front desk was great he did his best to save me the most money possible. I was previously quoted over $300 from another shop but got it done here for half of that. This shop has new owners and has been here since Oct 2025. This is the worst experience I've ever had at this location and it is very unlikely I will ever return. First, the location was understaffed, but there was no relief coming for the two guys working. This means that my 15 minute oil change took 2 hours. Yes, I had an appointment. I was not happy, but I can overlook that. We're all human. However, the manager of the location came out and said he would be working on our car personally due to the staff issue (dont know if he tried to get more people in. There were 4/5 when we got there and one plus him when we finally got to leave. After he returned to the work area, a girl in close relation was waved in, no safety classes, and proceeded to talk excessively and take selfies for around 10 minutes. When I asked for the number to give this feedback, I was given apologies and everything was "not my fault" despite him being the manager and boss. There were another two ladies that had been waiting for 2 days and wasted several hours in the shop after being told to return because the part for their car was supposed to come in. It didn't happen, he gave them the same, "not my fault" excuses. Completely unprofessional and rude. Think long and hard before you choose to waste your entire day, waiting for the single person to work on your car while the manager could care less. read more

I've been coming here for about ten years...even though I live in an area where you can scarcely throw a stone without hitting another auto repair shop, I keep coming back. The manager and the technicians are hard-working and honest and as a woman, it's very important that I can trust my car place not to recommend a bunch of unnecessary repairs! My one complaint is that their waiting room needs an update, both for the customers who are waiting and for the front of the house who spends eight plus hours a day there. It can get quite cold in winter and hot in summer, but I won't let that stop me from getting high-quality automotive expertise at Midas! read more

Went to Midas to have a check engine light that came on in December. After over an hour of checking out the car they came up with it being a problem with my emissions. They claimed it was still drivable but the light would come back on until it's fixed, gave me an estimate of $1000. Fast forward to now, the light has yet to come back on. My plates are to expire this month so I took it in to get tested and it passed easily. So it's bad enough they robbed me of 160$ but wanted to get another 1000$ from me as well. Mike and his team took a very expensive and hard job and made it their mission to make sure that we completely understood exactly what the vehicle had to have repaired to make it 100% right. What I thought going in was $500 in repairs ended up at $2000. Mike made sure I completely understood exactly what he had to do with his great team. I recommend them 100% ...as a consumer we have to listen to get results and they do not make you feel stupid like so many big out fits do in St Louis. I ended up with three nails in a tire that only has 700 miles on it. Lewis and Tommy worked for 90 minutes to seal the tire from the inside and test it, balance and remount. This Midas location provided me with the best auto service I have ever received. I am recently new to the Saint Louis area and I had previously been to several different auto shops trying to find the one I know will provide great service all the time. After 2 and half years of living here, I have finally found my goto shop at this Midas location. Chris, the shop manager, gave me the greatest customer service I have ever received at an auto shop. He didn't try to sell me any extras that I didn't need, and he tried his best to reduce the overall cost of the repairs that I needed. At the time, I needed a new catalytic converter. Other places quoted me around $1200 because they were simply ordering the stock part from the factory and installing it into the car. The guys at this Midas cut through the costs by installing a universal fit catalytic converter by actually cutting out the old one and welding the new one to the existing pipes. Most other big name auto shops say that they don't work with welds like that, probably because of the inexperience of all of their technicians. Chris was nice enough to actually show me the progress of the work being done. being able to actually view what the guys were doing to my car was a huge bonus to how much I was trusting these people with my car and my wallet. The guys at this Midas look like they have been around cars for a long time and know what they are doing instead of following a protocol manual for trying to figure out a particular problem with a car. I will definitely be coming back to this location for all of my future auto services. read more
