I called earlier this morning to set up an appointment for a full synthetic oil change. The gentleman who handled the phone call was Matt and he was very very pleasant on the phone. He said my appointment for 11 AM today. When I came in I was greeted by Mike and he was also very very polite and professional. They were able to get my full synthetic oil change appointment honored not only on time but a couple of minutes early. I just want to say that I am very very pleased with not only their professionalism but also the job they did on my car. They got me in and out within an hour and my car is running smoother than ever. I'm actually going to bring my wife's car in Wednesday to give them the repeat business that they earned. I highly recommend this location for anyone who lives locally. Thanks again Mike, Matt and all the boys working at the shop! You guys are truly the back bone of your industry and Company. read more

Ken was very rude. Telling customers not to come back again b/c I declined the estimate. this was the first time I came for estimates and he told me I did this 9 times before. I don't know how he came up with number. He was rude before and I should never come back to this location ever again. read more

Super pleased with the customer service, time, and services provided as well. Couldn't ask for nicer staff and a better little waiting room. The only reason I leave a 1 star review is that the techs working on my car did leave a large gouge on the drivers side door handle as well as dirty hand prints on the white paint and some on my center console. Also a loud squeaking started after I left so having to return again. read more

I went to Midas Lake Worth for my oil change and I desperately needed my brakes changed But I am a single mother and unfortunately it's been a struggle to get everything paid especially during the holidays. Ron suggested that I applied for the auto financing and then I was able to make sure it was achievable. He made sure my car was safe for me and my children. I really appreciate that he was committed to helping me through. The work was completed in a timely manner and I was able to continue with my errands and make it home before dinner time. I will definitely be back to them for any future work needed on my vehicle. Thank you for your help! read more

From the first call to walking out the door after service I was not just taken care of but educated. Told Jordan about the problems (ac & oil pressure sensor) and the guys didn't just get to work but few guys came and actually talked to me about the truck and what needed to be done. Spent a long time talking to Robert, very cool guy, and they gave me a break on the diagnostic and the price was good for the area. Talking with these guys made sense and what had to be done was done with care. I didn't feel like I was trying to be upsold on anything and they really were efficient. I've had my truck for almost ten years and they treated me like I'd been with since the beginning. I will not hesitate to head back when needing something to keep my truck rolling! read more

I don't understand how you can have someone running the store that has not been trained in professional communication and quality customer service. So, in lieu of real training here's some tips: 1) Greet every customer ASAP. Don't let them wait 15 minutes without a hello, I'll be right with you." Or at the absolute very least, a smile or nod...at the very least. 2) Don't allow a person who wants to CALL and haggle monopolize your time to the detriment of serving in-person customers who frequent your location. 3) Don't allow yourself to be pulled into an argument with a person on the phone. It makes you sound weak and unprofessional. 4) Never, ever play an "R" rated show on your lobby tv where kids could be sitting there watching. You may have heard the F-word many times as a toddler, but trust me, parents won't appreciate it. And again, it's just unprofessional in a public place. But please, watch whatever you want AT HOME. 5) Minor tip: Don't call people "boss". They're not your boss, they're you customer. They rank above your boss. Calling them "boss" brings them down. And personally, you guys charge way too much to sell and install a battery. read more

Fast service. Jordan was a pleasure to work with! Great customer service! Took my car in due to a noise from my back brake, they identified the problem and fixed it immediately! Much better experience then going to the dealership. I did not feel like I was being upsold services I did not need right away. Thanks again Midas! read more

Based on reviews and calling around I decided to come here for a simple oil change It was a Saturday so, they were very busy but, accommodating. I asked if I could come earlier than the time for my appointment. They didn't make promises but, they were able to get me in about 10 minutes earlier than originally planned. Once they took the car back I received an unexpected vehicle report along with pictures of every part of the particular object they were reporting about. I LOVE that. It helped my husband and I decide what needs to be next in terms of priority for maintenance. We were short on time and need to budget properly. They were not pushy at all and from start to finish with the oil change took about 30 minutes. We are new loyal and happy customers to this location. read more

This Midas shop restored my faith in chain auto repair shops. I had a bad experience with a similar type of auto repair shop in Bloomsberg, PA that told me to do suggested work that was expensive when they knew my car engine was toast to make their money on me and not have given me the real deal to tell me that I should have put my money in to another car at the time instead. read more

I have used MIDAS for all basic vehicle repair and maintenance services for years, they performed exceptionally well and went beyond my expectations, I enrolled my entire family, and many friends to be MIDAS clients - all was well until a few months ago. I brought my KIA Sportage for servicing and for AC repair, the unit had a leak and when charged, the AC would only function for a few hours before it stopped working. The mechanics at MIDAS kept changing modules and things and I kept on spending money on all the recommended repairs until I had topped over one thousand dollars - all for the repair of an AC leak. Yet they could not either find the problem or repair it. I kept bringing the car back, and after the fourth time, MIDAS had enough and simply told me that they could not do anything to help me. Needless to say, I would warn prospective clients to stick to oil changes and minor maintenance issues unless they want to drain their wallets while they fill themselves with anger and frustration. MIDAS never did the job, they simply got tired of seeing me with the car returning over and over before they shut their doors in my face and left me with exactly the same issues after taking over 1 thousand dollars from me. If MIDAS cannot perform AC repairs, they should refrain from trying and refrain from taking money from their clients without performing the services needed. Needless to say, I have completely stopped using MIDAS for anything and I ceased recommending them to friends and family. Sadly I must now recommend that you take your car elsewhere for anything other than an oil change. read more

Took my car in for an exhaust issue. They had it in the bay about 15 minutes after I arrived and I had a repair estimate 10 minutes later. Very reasonable and done in just over an hour. The manager pointed out an oil leak to be aware of but no upselling. All very professional. I noticed the same level of service for others in the waiting room. read more

Incredible service! Told me what I needed and why. The Jeep felt sluggish and it was hard to get up to speed, they suggested to take a look at my diffs and transfer box. I had some metal shavings in the rear and front differentials so we replaced those and I went ahead and replaced the transfer box as it was in relation to the diffs. I also got my wheels rotated while I was there. High quality customer service and knowledgeable people! read more

Midas - AC check great job - Auto Repair Near Me - Lake Worth, Florida

This Midas location is amazing. The staff there Jordan, Ish, Jeff, and Sheryl were so knowledgeable and helpful with everything. They helped me with all new tires, brakes, rotors, alignment, A/C recharge, and brake flush. My car drives so much smoother and I didn't even have to wait that long for everything to be done as all the techs were working on the car simultaneously. Ish went over everything in extreme detail of before and after changes with the vehicle which was much appreciated. Jordan handled all pricing and timing super smoothly. Jeff and sheryl were super friendly and focused on getting the car finished as swiftly as possible. Thanks again Midas read more

I have been using Midas in Boynton Beach since the new owners took over a few years ago. They are knowledgeable, friendly and their prices are fair. I have used this place for synthetic oil changes, cabin filter replacement and recently they installed a new AGM Diehard battery with a three year warranty. I have met and spoken to both owners who are extremely pleasan and honest. I highly recommend using them. read more

I have never been more disappointed in an oil change in my life. To start this off, I'm not the type to write reviews and downloaded Yelp specifically to talk about my experience with Midas. I needed a premium oil change for my 2017 Honda Accord. My experience initially went very well, I came in at 9 in the morning and was impressed with the knowledge and manner the mechanic was talking to the other customers with. I went in for an oil change, and was informed I needed new break pads and rotors. I decided to go with both and what proceeded next left me in utter dismay. I paid $629 everything and I left back to Miami to take my finals and exams only to notice an immediate drastic change in performance. The new breaks and rotors had visible rust, and were so unresponsive I nearly got into an accident on the turnpike on the way home. The oil used on my car was the wrong type. They used regular instead of full synthetic oil, and for the next two weeks all my friends pointed out the smell of burnt oil whenever I arrived in my car. It's safe to say that I will never be taking my car back to Midas. read more

I had to get up north sooner than expected. The soonest I could get an appointment at a dealer for an oil change was 10 days away. I wasn't sure these guys could deliver an oil change on a BMW X-2 but I was pleasantly surprised. I got a next day appointment. They have experienced mechanics. They used the proper BMW extended life oil and filter. They double checked everything for proper fit and leaks. The price was fair. They took a little longer (90 minutes) but it wasn't their fault, it's the time consuming way BMW specifies the oil level must be checked. Believe it or not....newer Beemers don't have a dipstick and I get pissed off every time i think about it. Finally, both manager and mechanic were pleasant and informative guys. They only tried to upsell me a new cabin air filter.....which I fully expected....and that's a lot better than most of these places which will try to sell you all sorts of nonsense. I think I've found a new place for routine maintenance. read more

Wow. This was hands down the best automotive experience I've had to date. The story starts with a brake service done by another Midas in Davie (which was my WORST automotive experience to date.) They had completely overcharged me for what became a 3+ hour brake service and then not even installed the brakes correctly! As soon as I left they were knocking alarmingly. So the next day I take the truck into this Midas in Lake Worth. Matt, the manager, gets the truck on the lift, reviews everything and gets everything tightened down and the noise stopped. So I take it home and then the noise reappears suddenly that afternoon. So I bring it back in this morning and Matt greeted me, got the truck back on the lift and disassembled the whole front brake system. They then noticed that both rotors were cut completely wrong by the Midas in Davie and were warped, leading to the knocking. So free of charge they re-cut both the rotors for me and rotated the tires (since the midas in Davis neglected to do that as well.) Now the truck runs and stops like a champ! The manager was courteous and profession, a true class act. This is the only Midas I'll be going to in the future while in Florida! read more

This is probably my favorite auto services place I have found. Adam was extremely honest with me about not needing new tires, but I could go ahead and go with it if I wanted too. Which I did, because I'm crazy about my car. He also brought in my air and engine filter which none of the techs have changed since I've been getting oil changes. Was very honest about everything, and was so pleasant to talk with while waiting. Definitely hands down, 100% recommend this place!! Thanks Adam and Team from Midas in Lakeworth! read more

If I can give zero stars I would. We bought 2 brand new tires and did a oil change 2 months from this business. A week ago, I saw a nail in one of my tires and noticed it was getting low so I took my chances and drove it to the shop. They patched it up and I was on my way. Yesterday (Sunday) I had a complete flat in the other tire we bought from them. We had to plug it up because we were in another county and needed to get home. Today they refused my husband and was told there's nothing they can do about it. So I called the shop and spoke with the manager named "Matt" telling him I'm pregnant and this my everyday car and I was there 9 days ago with the same issue and he said "I should of taken the car to the shop" (mind you they're closed on sundays and we were in another county at the time) but again nothing he can do about because we plugged it. I under stand that it can't be patched up after being plugged or even offering to replace the tire. Never coming back here again. read more

Message bodyOn Wednesday July 27, 2011, I went to MIDAS AUTO SERVICE EXPERTS which is located at 3855 South Military Trail, Lake Worth, FL. 33463 location. I went in for a oil change and tire rotation. The owner of the location was here on this day. I asked him about installing a cabin air filter for my car. He told me that he would have to order it. I asked him how much it would cost me? He told me $29.00. I asked him would that include labor? He said yes. I returned on the following Tuesday, August 2, 2011. I told the guy that I was there to have the cabin air filter installed. He stated that they must have sent it back because the company had returned a lot of items the day before. I asked him could he order this part for me again? He said yes. I told him that I would be back again tomorrow which would be Wednesday, August 3, 2011. I left work early to ensure that I could be there in plenty of time to have this part installed. I called to confirm that the part was indeed at the shop before I drove all the way down there from Jupiter. When I arrived, I told the person that I was there to have a cabin air filter installed. So another person by the name of Cesar( I believe), came in from the work area to assist me. He was so unbelievably rude to me, so rude, nasty and unprofessional that I could not get his name. He stated that the price that the owner had quoted me was incorrect. I told him that the owner said that the price was $29.00 installed. He asked me what do I expect for his guys to work for free? He claims to have called the owner and questioned him about the quote that he gave me. I told him that I was quoted the price of $29.00. He wanted to charge me he said $39.00 plus $19.00 for his labor cost for the guys. I told him that I was there last week and I got an oil change and a tire rotation for free. I asked him who paid for that labor? I asked him for the owner's name and number. He told me to leave and get out and take my business somewhere else. I called another store location an I spoke to another manager to explain to him the horrible service from the Lake Worth location. I asked that manager to please ask the owner to give me a call. I have not heard anything as of yet. I was told to leave and to take my business else where. That being said you should you should too. read more
