They provided maintenance services at no fee that I'd planned on paying for and everyone that I dealt with in person were very helpful and professional. I had the pleasure of meeting the service manager Danial Hagar who gladly welcomed me into his office and was exceptionally friendly, professional, and helpful. My service advisor John Goehle was great. His prompt responses, high degree of professionalism, helpful nature, and long experience were like a breath of fresh air. Internal service advisor Alex Hernandez was also very helpful on my initial drop-off visit, helping me get everything ready for my upcoming appointment. The front desk sales receptionist was also very polite, outgoing, and kind. And thankfully my RSM Honda mechanic, Ali Garcia, did very good work on my vehicle so now it's up and running great again. On the day that I dropped my car off, I had the opportunity to see inside the RSM Honda service garage area. It's very clean, orderly, modern, large, and well equipped (with many professional grade car lifts of various types). The service garage had an overall clean, orderly, and professional feel to it which gave me confidence. I also really liked their online service department appointment scheduling website as it allows the customer to choose exactly what services are wanted, choose the products to be used, and see the cost for all chosen services in advance. Plus, online there's the opportunity to write specific clear notes and requests to the service advisor in advance (thus minimizing any confusion). I haven't purchased a vehicle from this dealership, but after experiencing their service department (and after seeing their sales area and sales staff ), I wouldn't hesitate at all to also buy a car from RSM Honda. March 13th Ashley Sanders handled the buy back, gave us a fair price and was very professional. Said we'd get our check in 10 days. Unknown to us, Ashley immediately went on leave. After a couple of weeks of no one returning my calls I showed up in person. Got different people saying the forms were left on her desk, and taking zero responsibility for not covering her. Finance guy (who I figured would take care of it) handed me off to Brandon in sales who stepped up by calling the parent company to try and prioritize getting our money back, and also pushed forward trying to see how to get the unused money left on the warranty (again seemed like a finance thing.) Took 23 days to get the check. I could almost forgive that, but end of April I get a check in the mail from the 3rd party warranty company JMAGroup, and it's about 40% of what they owe us. Left message 4/28 and got a message back from Brandon on 5/4 saying he'd investigate. Have left 4 messages in the past 28 days without a callback. Submitted a claim with JMAGroup 10 days ago and so far silence. In the past 22 years, we've bought from RSM Honda a tricked out Odyssey, CRV, Accord and an Accord Crosstour. That will be it for us. They've always been great, but I suspect it's completely new management. Sales guy who sold us the Accord was wrong on about every feature, especially telling us Apple CarPlay was included (found it wasn't on our base model, which is part of the reason we picked the car for our son.) The times I brought it in for oil changes, the kid at the desk always seemed to find some $500 thing that our 6 year warranty didn't cover, then fess up that it wasn't a big deal and we could 'wait' when I pressed him. Wife got herself a Telluride, if that's any indication we're done with RSM Honda.
