Midas are thief's . They took advantage of my granddaughter. Took long time to fix her car and then charge her to much. They seen her coming young girl and know nothing about cars. She had to SAFE money to pay for the car job. And I help her. Then, the car broke down a week later . They told her it was going to be a whole lot of money now. She had cry all day. She doesn't have that kind of money and now no car. Midas really cheated her. They are going to deal with me now and I am a witch. They are not dealing with a young girl now. Had my front end aligned and it was pulling one way. I went back to have it readjusted he said it was okay no issues. 8 months later my brand new tires were worn out on the inside because it was out of alignment. Do not trust these people and do not bring your car there. I called and complained and they said they'd be happy to realign it for free but the tires are not their responsibility. read more

I hate getting an oil change because I feel like a lot of oil changes give you a run around if your female. But this was my second time at Midas and both visit have been amazing! As a young woman I always feel wary when going to get any maintenance or repairs done on my car for fear of being taken advantage of, but the fellows here were kind courteous and gave me a great deal!! We've been doing business with these folks for a few years and have always been treated with respect and concern. Whether it was muffler or brakes or a could you please check this noise for me, we were always very satisfied with their service. After dealing with this particular place, I can't understand why anyone would have any issues that would not be taken care of given to everyone's satisfaction. I can't speak for others but they charged a fair price for my brake replacements. Showed all the work. My vehicle's been running perfectly since. They treated me really well and I dealt with the assistant manager. Of you had a bed experience years ago you may see things have changed. read more

Avoid this place. They wont even honor their own coupons from their website. Always have some excuse as to why. Yesterday they said the coupon had to be used with an appt. i had the coupon in hand! No fine print that said that. read more

Called to schedule an appointment for the $21.99 oil change and tire rotation that is advertised online. I asked for the synthetic blend oil and was told this would cost an extra $10 to which I agreed to. He scheduled the appointment, asked for name, contact info, year/make/model and engine size. After giving him these details I ask to confirm, the price will be $32 for the oil change and tire rotation and am told yes, that is correct. I arrive at the appointment a few hours later and there is a different guy working the counter. He tells me that my vehicle uses 2 extra quarts of oil so it would cost more. I question why this was not brought up on the call when I scheduled the appointment and he makes excuses that the computer was probably slow and didn't pop up fast enough for the person taking the appointment to notice. I then ask how much it will be for my vehicle and he tells me $57.99. Apparently the oil price must skyrocket to over $13 a quart when you arrive after the appointment is scheduled. I walked out in disbelief, I can get the same service cheaper at the dealership. I believe these other reviewers are correct that this company will do whatever they can to not honor their own promotions. Classic bait and switch even after price is guaranteed over the phone while scheduling the appointment. read more

Horrible company. I had trouble with my vehicle when accelerating as if it was about to stall. Also had a brake light burnt out that I needed replaced. So I leave them my vehicle to have both things taken care of. My wife takes me to pick the vehicle up after the repair and follows me home. She flags me down and tells me the brake light is still out. So we turn around and head back to the shop. Not being happy about being charge for work that wasn't done, I just wanted my money back. The guy disappears and comes back to tell me the manager wouldn't allow him to refund my money. I found it amusing the manager never came out to apologize himself or at least talk to me about this error. Is it just me or is it pretty serious to charge a customer for something that wasn't actually done? On top of that, the muffler replacement didn't fix the problem I had. While getting estimates for getting this job done, I also asked about getting the brakes done. They told me they couldn't get to it for another week. After getting my brake light replaced (for real this time), I drove up the road to Belle Tire. Front and rear brakes were replaced and I was out the door within and hour. I should have went with them in the first place instead of wasting my time with Midas. They also fixed the acceleration problem. Cost me half of what Midas charged me for the muffler replacement. Live and learn. I hope I can help someone else avoid making my mistake. read more

I went to this location for a routine oil change and to have them inspect and tighten a loose heat shield on my Subaru. They recommended I change my air filter so I had them place a new filter as well. I was told there was nothing wrong with my heat shield and that there was nothing that could be tightened. I paid almost $100 total during this visit. I ended up taking my car to the dealer for the heat shield. The dealership found the heat shield was loose (as I suspected), and tightened it for me (problem completely resolved). After doing a standard routine inspection, they also told me an incorrectly sized air filter was placed and that it could damage my engine over time. They highly recommended I replace the filter that I was given at this location and so I paid for a replacement. They physically showed me that the filter that was placed on this vehicle was the incorrect size. I then went back to this location and requested a refund. I was told to come back on Friday (manager was not available). I came back on Friday and the manager told me that he would have to talk to a different manager to grant a refund. I ended up leaving the filter with them. I was told he would contact me back and tell me when I can come back in for a refund. I was never called back. I called them back today and the manager told me they are not going to grant a refund. The manager felt that they were doing the right thing and that the after market part they put in is an acceptable alternative. Who's going to pay for damage to my engine if something goes wrong? For a $16 filter, it's not worth taking that chance. I'll take the sunk cost, but you shouldn't take a chance on this place. Avoid this place like the plague. Horrible customer service. read more

Tried to tell me I needed calipers, at the cost of $700+. Told them I couldnt afford it, he shaved it down to $500, still couldn't afford it. Got a referral from a friend and went to Harry's on Airport Road. No calipers needed. Midas saw a female and automatically thinks "stupid". I dont know a lot about cars, but I know enough to not get taken. Midas is way overpriced. read more

I bought a used car and I knew I needed some exhaust work. Went to several places then ended up at Midas and I could not be happier. Not only did they fix my problem and a great cost the told me the truth about a couple other things. I had a gasket pop and went back (not their fault) they fixed that for me and my car sounds like brand new. Great guys Great Garage. I will be back. read more
