They said I needed to fix two things before I could get an alignment. That's fine. When I asked for a print out they said they already sent it to me when he didn't gather any of my information. When I called back asking for it they told me it's the lower control arm and hung up. I called again to specify which ones and the manager refused to even help or connect me to the person who looked at my car because I was considering bringing to a mechanic whose in my budget. DO NOT USE THIS SHOP!!!! Took my wife's car for an alignment, the technician used a blow torch to loosen the tie rod nuts to break it free. While doing so they burnt a hole into the CV axle boot. They told me nothing about the incident. After getting home I checked to make sure everything was put together after the drive. I then found the hole and grease all over the undercarriage and wheel well. After going back to them they agreed to change it, wasted another day in the shop while they changed the axle. Then once finished it should be realigned. They gave me a hard time getting it realigned after the replacement. Finally they complied with the job and realigned the car. FYI this shop apparently does not provide a printout to ensure the alignment is within specs. Also, They never cleaned the excess grease that was all over the wheel well and wheel/ caliper either. Soon after, my wife complains about a noise that is happening when she turns, after inspecting the car I found the tie rod held on by a striped out nut. Basically just held on by the cotter pin. This could have caused a very bad accident, I am warning everyone who has had work done by this shop to double check the work! As well as avoid this shop at all cost!!! Idk if it's inexperience or lack of care for the customers but my family is very lucky no serious damage or harm came from this experience. read more

Long story short, these guys don't want your business if you just want honest work done, they are filtering for suckers that they can make a good profit on. They'll just string you along as much as necessary with empty promises if you call them out on their BS. Details below. The story began on a Monday with my mother's extremely worn tires needing replacement. I checked on the Midas site and found that the tires I wanted were in stock at this location. I called to confirm and spoke to the owner who said that they actually weren't in stock, but that he was ordering them to have them delivered within two days. He also mentioned that "they had multiple options at the same price point". I needed my tires replaced asap but I also wanted my Nexens so I reluctantly agreed to come in on Wednesday provided he would honor the 4-for-3 deal mentioned on the website. He agreed. Tuesday I call back to check if they have a different set available sooner. Another guy picks up and tells me "absolutely, we have multiple options available at that price range" and, after speaking to the owner, he says they would honor the 4-for-3 deal on those for me. He also lets it slip that they never actually put in the order for the tires I asked for. We agree I'd come in for a specific set of tires at a similar price, with the offer applied. Wednesday rolls around and I drive 20 minutes to them ready to get this ordeal over with. I'm told that they actually don't have the tires they promised me in stock and try to switch me to some chinese brand tires which he pitches me as the best tires ever basically. After confirming for myself online that they were actually a terrible option, I asked them for other options. Suddenly they "have nothing else at my price point", but offer me the Nexens if I'm willing to come back in ON FRIDAY. So now I've wasted a trip, had them go back on their word twice, delayed my replacement by two days and I'm being handed another promise. I said screw it, went to Firestone and had a great set installed before eod on the same day, no bs. I haven't even mentioned how many times I had to have the Midas guy remove all the typical upsell stuff he kept trying to sneak into every one of my quotes when he was quoting me in person. Got everything ready to go and I ask how long as I indicated in my reservation that I would be waiting NOT dropping it off. He says 1.5 to 2 hours. I was like damn, but I needed it done. I hang out locally and go back In2 hours to pick up my car. Again I was told to sit .... Ok. 15 minutes later I go to the counter and was asked to sit AGAIN. He then waits on a customer whom had just come in. After that I said I need to know what's going on is my car finished (now 2.5 hours later).
