I told them we were in O'Fallon and could be there in 15 minutes, as they closed at 7. We arrived at 6:40 and they were waiting for us. I didn't get his name but he immediately got the keys and pulled the car into the bay. Turns out we needed a new tire because the hole was on the side and couldn't be patched. We walked out the door at 7:01 with a brand new tire and a smile on our faces. They made a very stressful situation so much better in a matter of 15 minutes! And the price was very reasonable for a new tire, I think the total was $178 out the door. They saved our day and we will use them from now on for all our tires.

He did not call me again until about 2:30 PM. to inform me that he could not do the wheel alignment due to a bad CV axle, a bad left control arm, due to a bad, trailing arm, due to a bad rack and pinion, he told me that I would need all these things plus front brakes, back brakes, and all new rotors. I told him that I just had back brakes put on it the day before. Then he began stuttering, and said "oh" . So he lied about me needing back brakes. I asked him if he got my car in at 8:30 AM. Why did it take him until 230 to call me to tell me that he could not do the alignment. I told him that my car was running fine, and I had not noticed any of those things, and that I would just come and pick up my car. When I picked up my car, my car was still up in the air with all of the wheels off. I told him that I was coming to get my car, so I asked him why don't you have it put back together if you knew you could not do this wheel alignment and I told you that I was coming to get it. There was a lot of clanging coming from my suspension. I noticed that one of my hub/wheel bearings was humming which it was not when I took the car in. It was not making any of these noises. I called the Car X and asked the guys what did they do to my car. I seriously honestly believe that these people sabotage my car so I could pay the almost $6000 they said it would take to fix it. That is an outrageous price if I was gonna get it fixed there. Everything that he named I can get done for under $700 but there was nothing wrong with my car! Blake attempted to reset mine and said he wasn't sure how, but he immediately took out his phone and looked up a YouTube video to learn. Seriously so courteous!! The next day I had to go to the club to pickup a birthday cake, I will say that I am overjoyed that they brought back the cookie cake. So out of curiosity I went to the area they keep the delivery orders to verify that it had been cancelled and it was not cancelled. Well since I was there and I did need the items, I went ahead and picked the order up myself. Unbelievable how badly this delivery service had been. I would steer clear of this option if I were you! One of my items was a salad and it seemed like they had left that out of refrigeration to await pickup. Do better Sam's. They should just cancel it or offer no delivery option near the hours nearest store closing like mine was. I'll be driving to Missouri to shop at Costco more from now on. They have top notch customer service and the food at their cafe is so much better without staff having attitude issues. Yes Sam's of O'Fallon, your cafe staff has an attitude problem. Nobody smiles and it seems like they hate being there. Plus the food - especially the hot dogs - is not as good as it has been in prior years. When I went to pick up my car and paid for the service that they did they told me that the actuators needed to be reset so the car still was not heating and I will need to take it to the dealer to have that done because they didn't have that technology. This is something they should have told me before I approve the service that they could not fully complete the job. Now I have a car that still doesn't heat and I still have to take it to the dealer to finish the job. I took it to the dealer which cost me another $259. They told me that the reason the heat wasn't working was because I had a blown head gasket. I'll call meineke because I wanted my money back because they did not finish the job and sent me somewhere else to have to pay another $259 to complete their work that wasn't completed because of their faulty diagnosis. Someone said they would have the district manager to contact me and no one has contacted me now in over a week. Do not take your car there for service.
