The service and customer service was excellent. LaKenya was able to find the documentation that wasn't showing for our car. Then made the appointment over the phone for us and got us serviced in the same day. She definitely needs to be a manager for that store. read more

Shop is very unknowledgeable. Set up appointment with them gave them all the vehicle information over phone when making appointment. Show up and they tell me my 8000lb truck weighs too much for there 12,000lb lift. Tried to tell me that the GVWR of my truck is 10,650 which it is but anyone with vehicle knowledge knows the GVWR is the max rating the truck can meet safely loaded down but they think that GVWR is what the truck weighs empty without anything in it. I would never take my vehicle somewhere to get worked on that doesn't know all the common ratings of a vehicle. When I showed them GMC website with the actual curb weight of the truck they got an attitude and told me to take my vehicle somewhere else and I did right down road to next Firestone who got over $3000 worth of business that these dummy's turned down because there clueless about vehicles and ratings. read more

Made an appt for 9 am for new tires. Told them i was waiting in store. 3 hours to mount and balance 4 tires. Was then told my battery was bad , my serpentine belt was bad and my brakes were bad. I wasn't there to be ups old products and services. 3 hours wait . Terrible And the bathroom was filthy at 9 am read more

We were in a new city and woke up to a flat tire on a day that we were planning to drive back home. Firestone in Fairview Hts IL said they could work us in around their schedule. They did just that. After about an hour the flat was replaced with a new tire and we were literally ready to roll. read more

Before I came in I went to their website to see if they could do what I needed. I needed 2 tires and an alignment. Simple enough and of course they could do it. I got the total online and made an appointment. When I came into the store they gave me a totally different price which was almost $300 more that what was said online. The man I spoke with kept trying to push their credit card on me after repeatedly saying no. To make things worse he even suggested they start work on my car anyways and while I'm waiting I can find out where to get the money! I will never go to any firestone and I personally don't recommend it. read more

My AC was not operating efficiently so I brought it to this location. After inspecting it they told me that the shrader valves were bad and needed replaced. Not knowing what these are I let them make the fix. I researched shrader valves. They are simply the valve to add and remove refrigerant and to check the pressures. They have nothing to do with the functionality of the system. Total bullsh** diagnosis. Pulled one over on me. Terrible service. Got taken advantage of. read more

My car broke down at night on the highway in the middle of a road trip. The other auto places nearby all told me their mechanics had gone home and not to bother being towed there. Firestone reassured me they would be there to help. They let me keep my three cats, who were very frightened, in the car while they checked things out. In the end they found the problem was with my gas gauge and I'd just run out of gas. They were so nice and didn't even charge me. I was able to drive all the way back to Kentucky that night. These Firestone workers were my guardian angels! read more

I am usually a big supporter of Firestone. I have been coming here for little over a year after a bad experience with Dobbs. I've never had a problem with this place till now. I took my 2003 Mini Cooper S in to get new half shafts, new lower control arms, and a lifetime front end alignment. Almost an 1800.00 dollar job. We dropped the car off around 6 on a Tuesday evening and were told we would have the car back later the next day. Wednesday we get a call saying there was a problem and it would be Thursday before we get the car back. That was the last we heard from these people and it is now Saturday evening! We call up there Friday night since we have not heard anything and no one seems to know what the story is on the car and guy working on it has gone home. They tell us to call back tomorrow! Not we will have him call you and let you know what is going on with your car, no we have to call them. Meanwhile I've missed school, work, and other things because they still have my car! Don't think I will be taking my car back to Firestone anytime soon! That is if I ever get the damn thing back! read more

Brandon, manager of Firestone at 922 Loughborough, MO 63111 saw me on the side of the road with a flat tire on 8/28/15. He literally stopped, asked if I needed help, and I said yes- as I felt I was absolutely was in crisis, because my husband was so far away. Brandon immediately put my spare on, and followed me to the local gas station, and filled the spare's pressure up to appropriate amount (I didn't know it was low & didn't have money on me). I'm newer to the area and asked where he recommended me to go for help. He recommended my local Firestone, Fairview Heights, IL and EVEN called to help me get my information in their system. When my husband showed up, we wanted to pay Brandon for all his help, but he wouldn't take any money. I was in a crisis & he saved me. Then the next morning, Fairview Heights treated me with the utmost respect and gave Outstanding customer service. I was really impressed with the whole experience from beginning to end. The employees at the Fairview Heights Firestone Tire Center go above and beyond! After a day of shopping at the mall, I came outside to find a flat tire. I walked across the parking lot to Firestone. (very convenient by the way!) They immediately came with me to take a look. Then, they sent an employee with a portable air compressor so that I could drive my car to their shop. They showed me that my problem was a bent rim that was allowing the air to escape. Therefore, there was nothing they could do on a Saturday afternoon without having a new rim. They sent me on my way after rotating my tires so that the donut spare tire was on the back. They even volunteered to call around on Monday for a used rim to match the others. read more

I came here a year or so ago because a different Firestone in a different state had made a mistake and put the wrong tires on my car. This store gave me new tires although it was not their responsibility and went out of their way to call me a few times to let me know they were going to be able to help. let me start by saying, i came here after waiting at another tire shop for three hours before they decided to tell me they didn't have my tires in stock. so i came here in a panic due to my last minute decision to get new tires before a trip. they performed my oil change & changed my engine air filter quickly & then let me know that the online quote on what tire i needed was not correct, & they too did not have the tire in stock & let me know they could order the tires and have them in first thing the next morning! (me being the procrastinator that i am) couldn't wait due to the road trip the next morning. these guys were so accommodating & never once tried to intimidate me due to me being a female not entirely in the know of her car. they were so incredibly helpful & once i get back from my road trip i will definitely be coming back to this location. CANNOT say enough great things about this staff today! so thankful for all their help even if they didn't have my tires! thanks so much! read more

This business is one of the worst businesses I have ever had to deal with in my entire life. In the last 6 weeks, my car has had 5 issues and been to firestone 4 times. This most recent issue, my car wouldn't start after about half an hour of trying. Firestone claimed "nope, we can't find anything wrong...sometimes this type of car just randomly won't start" and sent me home. Not too surprisingly, 6 days later, my car isn't starting again. I take it to Dobbs, as this is now the 5th problem my car has faced since first rolling into the Firestone parking lot... Within a few hours, I get a phone call that yes, there is actually a huge problem with my car. It's a $670 fuel pump issue (bringing my total car bills over the last 6 weeks to $2000). In conclusion, if you want to risk being stranded in the middle of nowhere with a broken down car, take it to Firestone. If you want to trust that your car will be fixed after paying thousands of dollars, take it anywhere else. read more
