Wanted to get 4 tires. Brought car in and they said to leave it and would call me with price. I had already looked it up on their site and price was $811.71 for 4 Goodyear Wranglers. Guy called and told me the price was $1,130. Told him it must be a mistake. He insisted that was correct and he couldn't give them to me for the price on their website. Said he would look into the price on the website. I told him to forget it. I called Sullivan tire and their web quote came in for $838.46. He ran it on his computer and it came back at $837.54. Just re-scheduled with them.

Avoid the Wareham and Plymouth locations unless you want to be scammed for unnecessary repairs…read more I brought my 1998 Chevy Express conversion van in for a routine alignment. My trusted independent mechanic had just completely rebuilt the front end with brand-new inner/outer tie rods and stabilizer links. Crucially, my mechanic personally freed up all the camber and caster adjustment bolts beforehand so the alignment would be seamless. Wareham pulled a lazy "tow and go" and claimed they couldn't reach the bolts. Corporate stepped in and sent me to Plymouth, claiming they had the proper tools. Plymouth called me with a fabricated story. First, they claimed the adjustment bolts were frozen. When my mechanic called them out on that lie, they immediately shifted their story and claimed they could turn the bolts, but the upper control arm was "seized to the frame," refused to adjust, and would need to be cut off. They immediately tried to hit me up for a $1,200 quote for new upper control arms. Here is where they caught themselves in a massive lie: the control arms on this van are relatively new insurance replacements, and when they handed me the final alignment printout, the camber and caster numbers were completely different from when I drove in. Basic physics and suspension geometry dictate that if the alignment numbers changed, the control arm physically moved. They forced the adjustments even further into the red, threw my perfect toe spec completely out of alignment, and then tried to scare me into a massive, unnecessary $1,200 repair. I refused to pay a single dime, walked out with my van, and took my business to an honest independent shop. They rely on cookie-cutter corporate sales scripts to exploit people they assume don't know any better. If you go here, check your printouts carefully--their own data exposes their dishonesty. UPDATE: Regional Manager called me from Barnstable to address this review. Instead of investigating a documented safety issue or addressing the physical data proving the alignment numbers changed on the rack, he spent a two-minute phone call yelling at me, attempting to talk over me, and trying to bully me into removing my public feedback. He admitted that the camber and caster numbers moved, but claimed that a technician turning a wrench and changing the vehicle's geometry on a screen is just a "matter of opinion." He then tried to guilt-trip me by stating they spent five hours on my vehicle, ignoring the fact that they spent those five hours actively making the alignment worse to fabricate a twelve-hundred-dollar repair checklist. This company does not care about vehicle safety or mechanical reality; they only care about manipulating public metrics and protecting their store scores.

Ok, I'm finally getting around to writing this review after about 6 months - which I suppose is…read moregood in that I've gotten a lot of time to see whether the work holds up. Short answer is: yes, the work at Cape Cod Customs holds up, and it holds up well! Cape Cod Customs installed a 4.5in suspension/lift kit on my 1997 Jeep Cherokee XJ Country. Greg was very helpful from the start and was kind enough to talk to give me his honest opinion on the lift kit I had purchased, which was not from a top quality manufacturer and had a "hit or miss" reputation. Despite this, Greg understood when I told him I was willing to take the risk and that the lift kit was the only one available in my price range. As someone who owns a small business, I always appreciate when someone can cut to the quick and give me the honest info. Greg is definitely that kind of guy - he cares about the work his shop does and isn't just looking for a quick payday - and in my 37 years I've only run into a handful of people like that in the auto industry. Greg installed the lift kit on my Jeep and despite the issues that sometimes come with the brand I chose, so far everything has run phenomenally. Not a single issue with the suspension system, and the Jeep rides great on regular roads and the highway - and surprisingly I can still get 85+ mph out of it, even with 33in tires and 186,000 miles. I drove all the way out from Boston to have Cape Cod Customs work on my car and I couldn't be happier that I did - and for any major work in the future, I know where I'm going! As a business owner, I also know that some customers just won't be happy unless you give them the work for free and I have a hard time understanding how my experience, and the experience of so many other reviewers here, could be so vastly different from the one particularly negative review on here. I urge everyone to look at CCC's whole body of work and make a decision based on that! As someone who knows a thing or two about cars - those look like random photos of rusty cars. If a recent paint job had been done to those vehicles, you'd be able to see "witness marks" - i.e. evidence of the work performed. For example, it takes years for that amount of rust to accumulate - even with our harsh winters. If that car had been painted, that rust would have been sanded off first. If they painted over the rust, you'd be able to see deformations in the paint next to the areas where it's peeled off. It's very difficult to get vehicle paint looking flat, and it would be impossible for the remaining paint to look like that if they just painted over rust. Just my informed opinion, but it looks like someones telling stories! (also, just so everyone knows - the metal around the front fender was left on by me so don't fault CCC for my laziness in not removing the fender flare mounting yet!)

This was the same…read moremake and model vehicle that I have test driven and owned in the past, but this one was by far in the worst shape. The door handle in the back was broken, the NAV system had a theft lock on it, the leather was rough, and the speakers had chunks of the cover missing. It looked like two men had fought on the inside. But the craziest part is, when he told me to put it in drive to move the car up, THE CAR DID NOT DRIVE IN "D." He kept telling me to drive forward. He then said "oh yeah you have to put it in third gear to drive." WHAT? He said it needed a shifter cable. Whatever. He made one of his employees go on the test drive with me which was weird. The white family that came after me was able to take the car by themselves, but another employee said he knew them. Again, whatever. When I get on the test drive, the employee said he did not have time to let me drive on the highway. At this point, I feel like I am being joked with. I disregarded him and went on the highway, where I discovered suspension issues. When I went to negotiate a price, the owner raised his voice. I had to put him in his place by saying his cars don't even drive when in "Drive"." I put a deposit down and said I would take it to a mechanic before purchasing. When I did, it was a disaster. The vehicle would not have passed inspection. Brake light was out, holes in BOTH mufflers, massive oil leak, motor mount missing, sway bars rubbing, and dozens of codes that were erased were recovered on the mechanic's OBD system. When I brought it back to him and asked for my money back, he tried to pretend to give me my refund. I watched him get to the "Complete Refund?" screen but he did not press "YES." He stuttered and said "ok refund complete." I almost lost it. I made him press the button and recorded it. From start to finish, this was a complete mess. The owner is a stereotypical cheapskate used car salesman. He buys beat-up vehicles from the auction, does not choose to have them looked at, and then has his "brother in law" in Woburn make less-than-minimal repairs with junkyard parts. That's cool if you are selling dirt cheap, but he is marking up the vehicles THAT WON'T PASS INSPECTION ABOVE Kelly Blue Book and Cargurus IMV values. He wears Walmart brand sneakers, pretends to refund you, and tries to block you from taking the car to the mechanic or on the highway. After I told him the vehicle would not pass inspection, he raised the price online $1,000. Let my photos do the talking and STAY AWAY.

I was able to find just the part I wanted, but couldn't tell entirely if it was the right color/fit from the photos available on Robertson's website. So I called, and discovered that there was no problem coming down, going into the yard (just need to be sure you're wearing closed-toe shoes), identifying the part and then pulling it with my own tools. The staff helped me bring it back out of the yard. I don't think that Robertson's is usually a U-Pull yard, but the point is that if you call them and are reasonable I think they'll work hard to help you out. Just what I'd expect from any service-oriented family business. Finally, I'll just add that they have A LOT more inventory than what's posted on the website. This is a huge place. And to respond to the other reviewer who's complaining about the lack of weekend hours...well, I've found that most salvage yards and old-school businesses like this are not open on weekends. That may be a bummer, but it's the industry norm, so I wouldn't take it out on this place in particular.

When ordering I even asked the rep if the motor was working and she said yes. Once I ordered, I never received any timeline as far as when it'll be ready for pickup. I called to get an estimate and was told that it should be ready in a few hours but someone will call me to confirm. I waited all day with no one contacting me. I called the next morning and was told that it was ready for pickup. Mind you it's about a 42 minute drive to Wareham from my house. Once I arrived I got the receipt and went down to the shop for my order. The guy there brought out a manual sliding glass. Immediately I told him this isn't what I ordered and he basically told me to go talk to someone upstairs and complain there. I went back upstairs and was told that they sold me an incorrectly inventoried part and that they never actually had a power sliding glass. They did provide a refund but basically said sorry there's nothing else we can do. I gave this place a shot despite the existing bad reviews and had a pretty bad experience. If you live nearby, might be worth checking out but if you have to drive 30+ min, I wouldn't bother in the likelihood you get screwed. Look for alternatives, if possible.
