They don't do engines but they were able to help me diagnose that part, and then helped me by letting me keep my car in their parking lot for 3-4 days. I am fortunate that they allowed this. When I brought my car to the dealer for regular maintenance plus to buy new summer tires, the dealer told me that whoever mounted the tires cross threaded one of the nuts. Bad bad bad. If this weren't bad enough, on my other car, Firestone recommended a change of cabin, air filter, which I did. After that the air-conditioning fan was loud. I took the cabin air filter out only to discover a mouse nest above the air filter. It would've been nice if they took it out and told me, but they didn't. Over the years, this shop went from bad, to good, back to bad again. Another fire stone a few miles away shut down because of terrible service. I hope Firestone can turn this shop around, as it is convenient for me.

Long story short....I came initially to see if my battery was running low which was causing the power steering in my Subaru (electric powered steering). The battery was fine but the mechanic notice that one of the cables in the power steering was loose. He plugged it back in --NO Problem SINCE!!! Now, I have already made an appointment with Fox Subaru to get it fixed...(estimated cost $1300) . The $15 saved me over a grand!!!! They could have lied and not do anything but did not. One man took phone calls and did paperwork while the other sat in his chair staring at the desk while on hold with a dealership. The first man asked what I needed and then told me to speak to the man in the phone. He was angry that he had to deal with the customers while his co-worker stayed on the phone. That man them proceeded to check in the man behind me first (I am a woman). When I finally got checked in, I was told they didn't know when they would get to me because I checked in online and "corporate shouldn't allow people to check in online when they didn't know how busy the shop" was. Finally, they told me the job was done and checked me out. I got two blocks away in the rain and realized they hadn't touched my car! I drove back and discovered that they had serviced the wrong car!!!! What a mess.
