Terrible. Saw ad online for vehicle so I called and spoke to an employee. They confirmed it was still available. I made the trip to dealership next day. The vehicle was there but another employee confirmed it had been driven in the meantime and had been significantly damaged. Wasn't even close to condition or mileage that was advertised. What the Fuck ? I called about a car. Alicia told me to come in Saturday at 11. I did that. She is off. Okay? So, one guy is talking to me about the car and said it needs a fuel pump and converter. So, I couldn't even test drive it. What a waste of time. THEN, another guy starts talking to me like I don't know anything because I am a woman and is trying very unsuccessfully to tell me that I need to buy a vehicle with 190,000 miles on it. I said, no thank you. I am only interested in this Mazda Protege. I have had one before. I loved it. This one has 90,000 miles on it. He said something about it being ready by the first of the month.... it is the 9th... you can't replace a fuel pump and converter in less than three weeks? Okay. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!!!!!!!! I purchased a car from here last August that I paid entirely too much for. I was down on my luck and needed a vehicle quick in order to get back and forth to work. I purchased from here before so I chose to go back and it was the worst choice I have ever made!!! The day after I bought the car I smelled oil burning and I noticed a few drops of oil on the ground. I called Midwestern and they told me to bring it in. They had my car for THREE months and then gave me a $2400 bill claiming they replaced the head and multiple other things pertaining to the engine. 2 weeks after I finally got to bring it home my oil light came on and I had to put FOUR quarts of oil in the car!!!! Was losing a quart of oil every 500 miles and Dwayne refused to look at it again claiming he fixed it. Today (Only 8 months later) I threw a rod in the car, my engine is completely blown. I STRONGLY ADVISE DO NOT GO HERE TO BUY A CAR!!! Very dis honest people. read more

I had just been offered a job after being laid off for 8 months, AND I bought my 97 ford ranger, on September 24th 2011, I test drove the vehicle and asked about their inspections, and what was done to the vehicle before they sold it, he said they gave the vehicle a through check for mechanical issues and completed some repairs to make sure it was safe and fluid changes, the vehicle had some oil leaks, and some other minor issues (to be expected) I was told about their repair service, that they would do repairs for a very reasonable price, and would allow payments on repairs..bonus, I took my vehicle home, I noticed right away that the truck was leaking large amounts of power steering fluid I called, and was told to bring it back, it was determined that both power steering lines were rusted, they replaced the lines, after that I decided to have the vehicle checked out at the dealership I worked at to make sure everything else looked ok, at that point I discovered they were not honest with me about checking out the vehicle, both of the stabilizer links were broken and hanging DANGEROUSLY near my steering linkage, (this could have caused an accident) and that one of the tires was split on the inside edge to the belt and could blow out at any time. I paid to have these issues fixed that day (208.37$) the very next day the vehicle began popping out of first and third gear, I contacted the Lot, as I was beginning to get concerned (Id only made 1 payment as of this point) they never returned my call. I went about my business for a little over a week, as I did not have time to deal with the issue right away due to my new job. I could NOT take time off after only 2 weeks of work, this Monday on my way home from work, the vehicle began to shake and vibrate violently, nearly causing me to have accident, I got the vehicle to them that evening and was told by the owner (Dwayne) they could not do anything with it for at least two weeks, he told me to take it somewhere else, I told him I could not afford to do that as I had just bought it and just started a new job that in the last two weeks I had put over 1000.00$ into it between the down payment, weekly payments and repairs. He was very rude and told me " not my problem" I asked about the repair service (with payments) and was told "nope sorry I cant even pay my bills right now so I'm not covering the cost of yours" (another lie I was told when I bought the truck) I said I would lose my new job If I did not get the vehicle repaired "not my problem" the next day I had the truck towed to another shop, I was given a laundry list of problems (some to be expected due to age and mileage) but the ones that disturbed me showed the vehicle was Unsafe to drive, a completely broken carrier bearing (holds the front axels together) I was told that this clearly visible bearing had completely separated, (that all that was holding the axels together was a link at this point and if that had given out an accident would have been unavoidable, both Rt front ball joints were broken as a result of the carrier breaking, best of all the rear drum brakes, were held together with wire, instead of springs and had cut up sections of 2X4 wood jammed in to hold the shoes in place fortunately the front brakes were able to handle the vehicles braking or we could have had another issue altogether, the repair bill just to handle the issues to make the vehicle safe to drive, 1434.65 I have tried to contact the lot with the issues of the safety and misrepresentation, they will not return my phone calls, I am left with 5234.00 (cost of vehicle) plus 1622.00 in repairs, just to make the thing drivable, all within my first 20 days of ownership, I am starting a civil case against them, and need additional claimants, if they screwed you over too, contact me at Brittneyturner@ymail.com. On June 6, 2015 we read the reviews from another website and they seemed pretty good. Called them in advance about financing but was told with our credit and down payment there would be a limited selection which we understood. They showed us a 2000 Chevy Cavalier with "55,000" mile on it that "some old man" owned for $4500. On the way to have a mechanic check it out we noticed the dash had been cut, the odometer was shorting, the back door window would not stay up, it was hard to shift and the back window area where the speakers were was covered with poster board. The mechanic found a major oil leak, the tires were 13 years old and the mirror was broke! Strike One! Took it back, told them all that was wrong. They were astonished that we didn't like it! Then they showed us a 1997 Jeep Cherokee, the door would not open. It was getting ready to close so as we were leaving they showed us a 2007 Chevy Impala. So we agreed to come back on Monday. Showed up on Monday to test drive Impala. Our fault we forgot our proof of insurance and had to go home, a 2 hour trip on the bus to retrieve it before they would even let us test drive it. Asked why they didn't ask for that information on Saturday when we were there, reply "Well you want to buy a car right?" My response, "I want to test drive it first" Test drove this one to the mechanic, again major oil leak, windshield wiper was broken and the tie rods were loose. Strike 2! Take it back an explain what was wrong. Well they said "You can't expect a car that old without some problems!" Okay I see that but when you are overpricing your cars $2000 over Kelly Blue Book I expect a car with minor problems. So then they tried to show us a 2008 Impala. The seat belt didn't even work. Strike 3 your out! So while they were trying to figure out what to try next we just walked away and caught the bus. I realize we were limited on their inventory, our down payment was not as large as they would have liked, we had no trade in and our credit was a determent, but the cars they did show us would have cost over a $1000 or more to get fixed and we don't have that kind of money . We really felt from the reviews they would try to help us. But there were other people there that had also been there on Saturday and were still trying to find a car when we left. They had also been there since opening on Monday. The customer service team seemed overwhelmed We were made to feel like maybe they didn't want to sell us a decent, well running vehicle and they were just trying to unload some of their unsellable merchandise. I know I personally just got tired of the runaround between the salesperson and the service manager. We ended up taking the bus to another lot and had a well running car within 2 hours. Between Saturday and Monday, hours spent wasting time 8 1/2 hours at this car lot, with no car. Maybe they have a loyal clientele that they have built up over the years but they lost my business and I will not recommend them for car sales. read more
