I trust these guys! Always do their best to be polite and courteous!...and help out. I would never take my Mercedes anywhere else!

They have gotten worse since changing techs and staff. They now perform services you did not ask for. When you argue with them, they add notes to your invoice saying that you asked for those services. When you challenge them, they tell you don't come back. So I won't come back. They no longer have a membership in the Better Business Bureau. Avoid them. read more

I recently had an unpleasant experience with this business. After some repairs to one of my vehicles and after many concerns addressing the results of the repair work, the work was redone at my cost. I expressed concern that sub-standard parts were used or the installation was not correctly done originally. Midtown Service said they were not responsible for any part of after the work was completed. I tried to be as reasonable as possible with them but to no avail. I have four vehicles which I have had service by Midtown in the past. In this time of uncertainty I am striving to keep all my customers. Many businesses will not survive this uncertain future. I have been going to Midtown Auto for 7 years now with my Audi and have had nothing but great service and Diane at the front desk is very knowledgeable and helpful. They are fair and reasonable and don't push you for unwanted repairs. I think that the other review may have not realized that Sean is actually fixing cars, that's why Diane is up front! Dropped into this shop. Receptionist asked what I wanted. I said I wondered if they'd be interested in looking after my BMW. Owner Sean standing there. I extended my hand and he shook it, but no eye contact. Then he disappeared into the shop. I advised reception that I'd like to talk to him. She said he's busy. I asked if he is so busy that he doesn't need new customers. She shrugged. I said to her to let Sean know that lousy customer rapport = no business. If you have VW this is the place to go. I think that this establishment is awesome. I called and made an appointment to have my Jetta fixed, it have a fuel smell in the cabin when I would let it warm up. So I brought it in and they diagnosed the problem and called to tell me the issue. Apparently the fuel filter and some other issues had made the stink in the call. Then they told me that the fan motor was broken and needed to be fixed, but I fixed that a few months ago? But maybe it was broken again. Anyways at the end of the day the opened it up to check and the fan wasn't broken just pieces from the other guy that fixed it didn't clean up. I was so happy. They could have charged me for something that was under the hood and they didn't. They are super honest and reliable. Definitely going to use these guys again. Thanks Mid-Town Service!!! read more

These guys might not be the cheapest, however, expect honesty and integrity!!! They know what they're talking about and will not try to trick you. I did find their diagnostics a bit expensive ($100). My other guy doesn't charge a cent for it.... part of the package. read more

Came out to a big oil puddle under my 2005 Audi Allroad. Called Mid-Town and they got it in immediately 4:30 - just before closing. By the next day at 1pm they had it all fixed and ready to go for me and at a very reasonable price. This car has always been taken to the dealer...not any more! Mid-town offered way better value. read more
