They delivered on-time a face cord of seasoned firewood on 11/20/2020 for a price of $200.00. The driver was friendly and polite and I was told they accept check or cash for payment, therefore I paid in cash for the load. I felt that the price was high yet I was told on the phone that the distance of 12 miles was added in extra for a delivery charge. SMH This business is located in Armada, Michigan off of 32 Mile Rd. which in calculation to my home off of 22 Mile Rd. equaled a total of 10 miles from business yard to my driveway. The firewood load had many large stump pieces that needed to be split and cut in order to fit inside the insert of my fireplace. Oh Well, seeing was believing plus I assumed that all companies split the wood on the thinner side. After All I've been buying firewood since 1992. The wood burned great and lasted till Feburary 1, 2021. Price too high! By the end of the summer, much of the sand had completely washed away, and steps that were "repaired" have completely come loose and are actually WORSE (as in, the entire step of bricks has broken off as opposed to the single loose brick that was the original issue) now than before we had the "repair" work done. Jason assured my husband and I that they would return in the spring to re-sand and take a look at the loose steps. Once we touched base earlier this spring, Jason told us they would be out mid/end of May...nothing. After multiple attempts to reach out, he finally responded and said they would be out the first week of June...again, nothing. Multiple text messages have been sent and left unanswered. So not only are they not coming during the timeframes given, Jason doesn't seem to have the courtesy or professionalism to communicate that they will or will not be coming during the timeframes he originally said. Disappointing to spend this amount of money, with the assurance that they could improve our pavers, and receive such poor customer service when addressing issues related to the job. Also worth noting is that after I left a Google review sharing our frustrations with this company, Jason responded with egregious, defamatory statements. Avoid Olde Town Customs - Unprofessional, Rushed, and Poor Workmanship…read moreI highly regret hiring Olde Town Customs to install 400 square feet of vinyl flooring. The material was previously used in another area of my home, but the vast majority was in good, useable shape, with the rest available for cuts. The contractor rushed the job, did not plan the layout, and stopped at 75% claiming he ran out of material. He then admitted he only allotted 2 hours for the entire job. He demanded full payment for an incomplete job, which I refused. He told me to buy 100 sq ft of a "close match" since my original flooring was discontinued. When he returned to finish, he completely failed to stagger the planks. He left an ugly, mismatched grid pattern on a quarter of my room that looks completely unprofessional. When confronted, he snapped at me, blamed me for not buying 10% extra (even though I bought exactly what he told me to), and stated he did not have time to fix it. He demanded the remaining balance and I only paid him to get him out of my house. Save your money and find a contractor who takes pride in their work and respects their customers.

They claimed this was due to us not being ready...however we had boxes packed and ready in the garage and the furniture was definitely there so I don't know what else we are to do with it. The owner came to collect money but sat there and let his lead take the heat for everything. I have no respect for people like that. I've had better experiences getting random people off craigslist during my college years. If you own nice things and want it done right look elsewhere. I honestly would have paid much more to have it done right but even with an extra person this still took double the time quoted with damage.
