This company was by far one of the best I have ever encountered. The owner allowed me to have my car towed to his parking lot to fix the tire, right there in the parking lot and didn't charge me a dime. He helped me out, checked on me, gave me advice (actually save me a huge headache), gave us water, and when I tried to give him a small token of appreciation, he didn't take it stating that he was glad he could help. He said he's been where I was and was happy that he could return the help to someone else. Additionally, the parts are very reasonably priced (I only bought two items totaling $118, there was no motives). The customer service was phenomenal. The owner of this establishment is heaven sent. I am extremely grateful.

The woman was so sweet, the gentleman that grabbed my items, Sam, was so helpful and kind, as well as the other gentleman at the counter. Five minutes from entry to exit and service with a smile. This Advance Auto Parts is more of a hike but now that the wretched Pep Boys closer to my home is closed and Walmart is reduced to selling wiper blades, motor oil and patchouli air fresheners to the Uber and Lyft fleets, it's definitely a trip worth taking. Five easy stars.

I don't even know where to start with Fred Beans Parts…read more I've been ordering car parts through Fred Beans for a few years now. Every time I contact them, I'm constantly reminded of why I only buy parts from them. Not only are they extremely knowledgeable of the products they sell, but they're always trying their best to make sure you're happy with them. Whether it be giving you advanced notice if your parts are on back order or always being a quick phone call away, they're always on top of things! After my last order of parts, they went so far as to contact me personally and see how things went with the install and what the outcome of the upgrade was. During one other purchase, the product was missing a small yet important piece. Without asking a single question, they had the part in the mail with next day delivery! I have yet to ever have a negative experience with them, and their customer service keeps me coming back as a loyal customer! In a world where businesses seem to only see you as a walking dollar sign, it's truly remarkable how the people at Fred Beans Parts handle their customers! 5 confident stars!

Three 1 star reviews in a row. That should tell you something…read more Despite my better judgement, I used U-Haul, and regret it. My son-in-law in Montreal also rented from the U-Haul dealer near his home, and had a similar experience. First, when I booked the van at one location, they did a "bait and switch" and sent to me another location which was far less convenient. Also, becuase there is a mileage charge, the rental ended up costing me more. If you like surprise billings, you will love this company. They take a concept pioneered by the hospital industry to its logical conclusion. And just like hosptials, there is no recourse after the fact. The problem is if you return the vehicle after hours, you have no recourse. I called the owner of this location, who promptly washed his hands of the matter. I escalated to the regional adjuster. The regional adjuster was a reasonable guy, and we got to an equitable resolution. I have two examples of surprise billings: 1. U-Haul has a cell phone check-in process, which does not work. Their failure becomes your problem. If you don't succesfully check your vehicle in by cell phone, you get a $20 charge. 2. I was hit with a cleaning charge, because the van was returned dirty. In the end this did turn out to be the case--my bad. Also, watch your back. For every car rental I pick up, I take extensive photos of the vehicle before I move it in the lot to establish per-existing conditions, such as scratches. My failure for this rental was to that I did not take photos of the inside, both before and after the rental. U-Haul should build a marketing program around a new tag line: "We don't care because we don't have to."

U-Haul websites often said something was available but if you actually called the location they didn't have a vehicle. We finally found a location in Princeton Junction and when we got there the vehicle was not available and they called the U-Haul customer service and they were suggesting we go to another location which I didn't want to do because we had an appointment to be somewhere and thought coming to pick up the vehicle an hour in advance will give us plenty of time we ended up waiting over an hour and a half they gave us another vehicle but when we got into it the vehichle engine light was on?dont they check these? They ended up giving us a stand-up truck but it wasn't until we were already 45 minutes Beyond our appointment time to be somewhere to pick up an item. I was given phone number of the U-Haul field manager with it 215 area code phone number to complain and speak to however only a voicemail was available and a month later I've never heard anything back. I would not use them again and I would not advise anyone else to use them from my experience. Hamilton NJ
