Kubotas are great and this is the best place to get one. On my 2nd one in 25 yrs and would go nowhere else.

I don't even know where to start with Fred Beans Parts…read more I've been ordering car parts through Fred Beans for a few years now. Every time I contact them, I'm constantly reminded of why I only buy parts from them. Not only are they extremely knowledgeable of the products they sell, but they're always trying their best to make sure you're happy with them. Whether it be giving you advanced notice if your parts are on back order or always being a quick phone call away, they're always on top of things! After my last order of parts, they went so far as to contact me personally and see how things went with the install and what the outcome of the upgrade was. During one other purchase, the product was missing a small yet important piece. Without asking a single question, they had the part in the mail with next day delivery! I have yet to ever have a negative experience with them, and their customer service keeps me coming back as a loyal customer! In a world where businesses seem to only see you as a walking dollar sign, it's truly remarkable how the people at Fred Beans Parts handle their customers! 5 confident stars!

Three 1 star reviews in a row. That should tell you something…read more Despite my better judgement, I used U-Haul, and regret it. My son-in-law in Montreal also rented from the U-Haul dealer near his home, and had a similar experience. First, when I booked the van at one location, they did a "bait and switch" and sent to me another location which was far less convenient. Also, becuase there is a mileage charge, the rental ended up costing me more. If you like surprise billings, you will love this company. They take a concept pioneered by the hospital industry to its logical conclusion. And just like hosptials, there is no recourse after the fact. The problem is if you return the vehicle after hours, you have no recourse. I called the owner of this location, who promptly washed his hands of the matter. I escalated to the regional adjuster. The regional adjuster was a reasonable guy, and we got to an equitable resolution. I have two examples of surprise billings: 1. U-Haul has a cell phone check-in process, which does not work. Their failure becomes your problem. If you don't succesfully check your vehicle in by cell phone, you get a $20 charge. 2. I was hit with a cleaning charge, because the van was returned dirty. In the end this did turn out to be the case--my bad. Also, watch your back. For every car rental I pick up, I take extensive photos of the vehicle before I move it in the lot to establish per-existing conditions, such as scratches. My failure for this rental was to that I did not take photos of the inside, both before and after the rental. U-Haul should build a marketing program around a new tag line: "We don't care because we don't have to."

I went here for a U-Haul rental, which was supposed to be contactless. But the lock combination did…read morenot work, so I had to go in the office. There were THREE STAFF PEOPLE IN A TINY ENCLOSED SPACE, NOT ONE WEARING A MASK. On top of that, the manager said, "Oh, you had the lock with the missing number?" So they knew of the problem and did not bother to fix it, then violated protocols and exposed customers to risk.
