He taught me more Kenpo than I taught him mixed kempo. He said he liked Dominic Retana and he was one of his best students in town and His brother Phil Retana was one of the best next after his brother Dominic. Both come highly Reccomended to me by him and Phil's brother, Dominic, is maybe the only one I would reccomend before him.

The instructors here are top notch, and I could not possibly be any more impressed with their professionalism and knowledge in the art of KENPO Karate. Their patience and wisdom at this school is second to none. There is also a lineage to Grandmaster Ed Parker the founding father to American KENPO. In my opinion this ranks it number one in Springfield, Missouri. Please understand that when you come to the school there is an unwritten code here, "EARNED NEVER GIVEN," you will advance only with hard work and perseverance. Call Phil Retana today and schedule a time to come to the studio and chat. Walking in the door the very first time really is the hardest part.
