As a fan of Pokémon myself I know how expensive the hobby has become and how little is available due to scalpers clearing everywhere out. Luckily the man working let us know that they were trying to combat this with charging retail price for their cards unlike most places that mark them up by absurd prices. We then were able to actually purchase some packs and my nephew was ecstatic! It's places like this with employees who seem to actually care that keep my faith alive when it comes to this hobby. We will 1000% be coming back to support this store. They are amazing and so are the employees.

The staff is friendly and…read morehelpful, they have a good selection of new and used games, used consoles and controllers, and merchandise such as plushies and clothing. To be honest, I dislike going to EB Games now, since like 75% of their stores are just POP figures and merchandise, and they only sell the newest games with a sad selection of used games, nothing for older consoles, and an almost non-existent selection of DS/3DS games. But I always depend on Microplay to have a new, lesser known game I want in stock. They also have games for older consoles like N64, PS, PS2, and GC, and sometimes have cheaper prices on brand new games compared to other video game stores. Even if there's other game stores nearby, I always go out of my way to buy a game I want at Microplay, cause I REALLY don't want them to ever close down!

I was excited to visit the store before seeing an afternoon movie. When you first open the blue doors, the decor is pleasing to the eye. It's cozy. I walked immediately to the new books display and started reading Leonard Cohen's collection of poems. I love the electronics section, which has everything from Fitbit trackers to record players. Naturally, there are plenty of Kobo readers. I held my composure and did not buy another to add to my mini collection of two. The cookbooks section is divine. One of my favourite restaurants that I frequented a ton in Winnipeg, earls, has its own cookbook. I want it so badly! I love this Indigo. It's now my favourite one. There are plenty of areas where you can sit down and read. I love the knitted mittens and scarves that you can buy. The paper shop section screams my name, as I have a thing for picking out the most thoughtful card that I can to friends and family members. It's such an inviting place to spend some time. Starbucks has been open for a while here. I like that the designers knocked a wall down, so you can freely walk between Indigo and Starbucks. I will need to come back and get the panda personal humidifier, simply because it's so stinking cute! (356)

This Walmart has a complete pharmacy, the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable, and always take time time to answer my questions. There is also a grocery and produce department inside the store, and I have never been disappointed with quality of the product or the prices here. This isn't about THIS store. I'm sure everyone there is friendly and helpful…read more This is about ordering online. I went on the Black Friday sale and selected a board game to be delivered to a store. As it was a gift, I didn't want the recipient to accidentally open it when it arrived at my house. After hearing nothing on the supposed day of delivery, I called the store. They said it was in transit and would arrive in a couple days. I can only guess this was wishful thinking. 8 days later, I called online customer service. I waited on hold for 40 minutes. This is where the total gong-show begins: It was never even shipped. Supposedly, it's "in stock" online, but they just can't ship it. "Why?" you may ask. Well I suppose that's just one of the many mysteries of life. The cynic in me thinks they boosted their Black Friday sale with things they don't actually have. Which is illegal, by the way. It's against the Consumer Protection Act to have false sales. I tried navigating their website's "Chat With Us" feature to get some help. It's automated and entirely broken. It asks for your order number and your postal code and then just...quits. At least I know Indigo's AI will never contribute to the Skynet future from the Terminator movies. This thing is dumber than rope. It does literally nothing but waste your time. Which I'm realizing is probably the point. As to my experience on the phone with a real human after all that holding time: The CSR online assured me the issue would escalated. She said I would get an email in 2 hours confirming this was being dealt with. 48 hours after that, I still hadn't been contacted. I called back. I waited on hold for an hour and then they closed and I was disconnected. So, I woke up early and called them as soon as they opened on their time. 6 am my time. 20 min of hold. Then I was told that the issue was escalated, but that escalating it means I'll be contacted in 7 to 10 business days!!! Will they ship the thing they supposedly have? God only knows. Will it go out of stock while I wait? Probably. They are still selling it on their online store despite being unable to actually send it to one of their stores. This isn't a new product that is hard to get. It's been around for years. Will I get it before Christmas? Lol. Unlikely. I think what IS likely is that they'll try and refund me and they won't honour their sale. Just a giant waste of my time and energy. It's back up to $70 and I supposedly got 30% off. I can't stress enough that this isn't the fault of the people at this store. This is on Indigo's terrible online portal, pathetic customer service, and seemingly fraudulent business practices.
