Went to get my eyebrows microbladed and wanted to make sure I went to a place that did a great job and made feel comfortable. Nicole at Microblading Corona definitely did an awesome job and made me feel comfortable. She's kind, will talk to you, and made the whole process go smoothly. Microblading Corona is located inside of Studio Salon Suites in the Dos Lagos shopping center. When you walk in, make a left, then a right, and her studio is like the second suite on the left. I really love my eyebrows. I got combo eyebrows which is microblading with tattoo shading because I have oily skin near my eyebrows and forehead. If I would of just selected microblading, the strokes wouldn't of lasted long and would fade. I'm hoping my combo eyebrows last me longer than a year because like I said, having oily skin makes them not last as long as someone without oily skin. I just made an appointment for my 3rd annual microblading touch-up with Nicole, and realized I have never written a review for her! Picture this: I was a first-time-mom deep into the pandemic in December 2020 with a 6 month old. I felt so blah as I didn't really prioritize my self-care. My sister mentioned getting her brows microbladed by Nicole, but I was a little apprehensive getting what i thought was essentially tattooed brows. The thought of something somewhat permanent, going on my face, was a commitment I wasn't willing to make. However, my sister's brows looked amazing and natural. I almost forgot she got them done, because they looked natural and most imporantly, even. Though I live in Orange County, I decided to make the drive to Microblading Corona. I have never gotten a tattoo and was a little nervous about what it would feel like. I'd seen some pretty terrible microbladed brows online, but I scouted Nicole's Instagram photos and was pleased with her work. Again, it was the natural look that I was going for. Nicole is a delight. She is sweet, disarming, and easy to talk to. We chatted while she mapped my brows, then showed me what shape she was going to do. It was still my own brow arch, just evened out. Once she mapped the brows, she placed the numbing cream on. It didn't feel like much, no tingling at all. Just cold cream. We talked for 20 min or so, while the topical cream did it's job. Then came time for the strokes. On a scale of 0-10, I would say its a discomfort level of 4 at its worst. The feeling can be described as a sharp pencil being scraped slowly along your brows in hair-like fashion. At its worst, it felt like the pencil was going deeper... but still, I stand by my discomfort level of 4 out of 10 at the worst point. Not bad at all. The first visit is definitely the longest. I felt like I was there for hours. But, Id rather have Nicole be meticulous and ensure I am happy with my brows, than have her rush just to get to the next client. Definitely dark, but that's to be expected when you've got some brand new brows on! She gave me instructions for care and maintenance, and texted the same instructions to me so I could refer back to them as needed. Just as Nicole mentioned, there was a bit of scabbing and fading. 6 weeks later, I went in for the touch up and it was much faster (mostly because I knew what to expect). I absolutely LOVE my brows! This is a holy grail service for a mom of young children who just doesn't have the time to draw in her brows. Every minute saved on makeup is precious! Every annual touch up is about 1.5 hours from beginning to end, with a discomfort level of maybe 3 out of 10. It is ABSOLUTELY WORTH its weight in gold. I always tell new moms that this is a game changer. I used to do lash extensions, but with the au naturel trend in makeup, I've ditched them and gone with lash serum. My lashes have never looked better, and they complement my awesome microbladed brows so well! Nicole is an amazing artist and gets it right every single time. Thank you! read more

Nicole is awesome and I highly recommend her services! She is very thorough in her work and does not rush at all. Like mostly everyone I was super excited, but also very nervous because I didn't know what to expect. Before she started she made sure I loved the shape of my brows and let me know exactly what she was going to do. From my initial appointment all the way up to my touch up everything ran smooth. I reached out asking about microblading service for my grandmother who had just finished chemotherapy, I had attached a picture showing her skin type. Nicole was 100% honest with me with how microblading would not work well on her skin type & how she should wait a whole year after treatment due to her immune system. The studio is located inside of a larger salon. It is filled with private studios, which is great, so it's just you and her in a single room. The studio was clean and well organized. Johnny has a warm and welcoming personality. She explained everything in detail, answered all of my questions and was very thorough. She made me feel very welcomed. I'm so happy I made the decision to have Nicole microblade my brows a year ago! She is truly good at what she does. I was always insecure about my brows because they were uneven and I had to cover up areas that were missing hair due to scarring. Thanks to Nicole, that is no longer an insecurity of mine! I've never really had very thick full brows but after I had my babies, I started losing my hair AND my eyebrows like crazy!!
