The issue was with my medium length acrylic nails. I was not advised that shaping and "extension" were $5 extra each. While it is not a large sum, I'm confused as to why it is not included in the service (especially shaping). I also noticed that my nails were not evenly shaped. One was crooked and a few of the others were different sizes. I didn't make a fuss because it wasn't noticeable from a distance and I had other appointments to get to as I was preparing for vacation. Overall, I would not return. It's not a bad place to go but it's not somewhere I would recommend if you're used to inclusive pricing and nails that are shaped properly. The salon itself is very clean, relaxing and has great customer service. Tien took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and helped me pick out the perfect dip powder colors. She then meticulously applied each layer, shaping and filing my nails into a beautiful almond shape. I am so impressed by how natural yet glamorous my nails look! The dip process took a bit longer than a regular manicure but it was well worth it for long-lasting nails that look like gel polish. Tien's attention to detail is unmatched. My cuticles and nails look healthy and the dip application is completely smooth without any lumps or bumps. I highly recommend requesting Tien if you want an amazing dip manicure that will last for 3 weeks without chipping or cracking. She really takes pride in her work and it shows through the results. Ben gave me a great manicure about three weeks ago and unfortunately wasn't available this week, so Tran took my appointment request. Like numerous salons in the area, a positive experience lies in the technician and less about the salon itself. If your not sure on what you need but you have an idea of what your end results should look like, Makes sure your communicate that effectively before your appointment begins. Not every technician at this salon is skilled and there are numerous customers serviced daily so they get pretty busy. If you are visiting for the first time, it may require a few visits with trial and era to identify the best technician for you. So beware. The water for the pedicure bowls rarely gets nice and warm, so if that's your preference, beware. Inquire on exact pricing for all details of your service... as other reviewers have mentioned addtl charges for this and that are not clearly disclosed.... ie clipping cuticles vs just pushing them back. I will continue to patronize this salon and give them a few more opportunities before labeling them as "consistent", but I wanted to provide feedback on my recent positive experience to balance previous visits which have not been so favorable. Over communicate, inquire on pricing and once you identify a technician that works for you, stick with that person. This is not a salon where "anyone" will suffice.

I want to start this review off by saying how professional she is. That is the first thing I look for in any establishment! She is professional, licensed, and takes her work seriously. I appreciate how quick and efficient she is. Furthermore, I appreciate all recommendations given to me regarding my eyebrows. On 9/23, I texted Sade & asked if she'd be able to do powdered ombre eyebrows for me. As you can see from the pictures provided, the last lady who did my eyebrows used a color with a red undertone (don't come for me.I didn't know any better at the time). Furthermore, as pictured, you can definitely see that the last lady who did my eyebrows left me with a scar on my eyebrow. Sade took her time analyzing the pictures and asked me to come in to see if she could work with me. The next day, I went for a consult. She took her time analyzing my eyebrows and even told me that if she could not work with my eyebrows, she would refer me to somebody else who could (I love that she is not greedy with her business and truthful)! It was determined that she could work on my brows. Sade had her work cut out for her... not only were my eyebrows the wrong color, faded, and scarred, but they were also uneven from the last lady I went to (don't get me wrong, I know that our faces are not symmetrical, but that don't mean the last lady had to follow the natural eyebrow, she could have helped even them out!). Sade took her time mapping out my eyebrows and even made sure to ask me whether or not I was content with the shape. Prior to tattooing my eyebrows, she made sure to explain the process, what I would most likely feel, how to communicate if I was in pain (it doesn't hurt), and even explained her numbing procedure (she scratches the surface with the tattoo gun prior to applying the numbing cream so that it penetrates and the client feels it less). During the tattoo process, I was so comfortable that I fell asleep! After my eyebrows were completed, she went to a well lit mirror and looked at them with me, she even asked if I'd like her to fix anything! My satisfaction was the only thing that she cared about! She then sent me home with a whole aftercare kit for my eyebrows which included written directions on how to care for my brows, as well as covers for my brows while I shower. Her process is thorough and you can tell that she takes her job seriously and loves her job. She is very personable as well as over prepared (e.g., the head lamp that she wears while doing brows was low on power- she simply switched it out for another one that was right beside her). I am more than satisfied with my brows, and I recommend everybody to her. I am so satisfied, that I took a class on how to do ombre eyebrows with her. If you are looking to get your eyebrows done, do not hesitate..... I'm telling you....you won't be disappointed!!!!! The only thing I'd like for others to consider is the healing process. Just trust the process.... Sade explained the color that she would be using on me, and I freaked out a bit because I thought it would be too dark. Immediately after getting your eyebrows done, they will be dark....but you have to keep in mind that it is a tattoo....and just like any other tattoo, it NEEDS TO HEAL. Once it is healed, the color is PERFECT. If you are looking to take a class on ombre eyebrows, she is the person to go to. She provides her students with a whole kit, which includes the tattoo gun and "skins" to practice on. She teaches you the technique, helps you obtain clientele, & even walks you through the licensing procedure. She is well prepared and sends out emails with a to-do checklist weeks before the class. She also refers her clientele to people that she has trained. She is a wonderful business mentor.
