Euro School of Tennis has been a fantastic find for our family. The coaches are patient,…read moreknowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the sport -- you can tell they actually care about each student's progress, not just going through the motions. What sets them apart is the personalized attention. Even in group sessions, the coaches take time to correct form, offer specific tips, and keep kids engaged and having fun. My kid went from barely holding a racket to consistently rallying, and more importantly, actually *loves* showing up each week. The communication from the team has been great too -- easy enrollment, responsive to questions, and accommodating when schedules get complicated. For a Bay Area tennis program, the value is really solid. If you're looking for a structured, encouraging environment to get your child into tennis (or sharpen your own game), Euro Tennis in Fremont is absolutely worth it. Highly recommend!

If you want to opt for a change in schedule it's an additional $40.00 which means for a one week lesson you'd pay about $90 for one week and remaining $52 for the rest of the week. Usually with most group lessons for example swim, ice skating, dance or music, you get the opportunity to attend a "make up" class within 30 days. I would know because my child has wanted to try everything from swimming to voice lessons.

Note the Yelp hours are incorrect and they're closed on Mondays!…read more I showed up on a Monday and the shop was closed but Rick happened to stop by to pick something up. He mentioned they'll be open the following day, but ended up taking my order anyway after asking what I was looking for (on his day off!). I went home and stressed out for 2 days because I was certain I ordered the wrong racket (I tried to do the transaction quickly and didn't even look at the racket since Rick wasn't even supposed to be working so I wanted to get out quickly). No matter how I crunched the numbers, I was certain it could not be the correct racket since my total after strings and tax was $20 below MSRP of the racket alone. I show up to pick up my racket and it was the right one! I was so confused I had to ask Rick about it and he said he never uplifted his prices after Babolat and other retailers increased their prices after tariffs. I came to support a local shop since it's rare for high end and in demand rackets to be sold at a discount. I never would've thought a small shop could've beat these prices. He didn't even tell me he was giving a discount or anything... people unfamiliar with rackets probably don't even understand the crazy deal they're getting. It's so nice to know that even though Rick can charge MSRP (and it would be a wise business decision to do so), he doesn't. I'm still reeling and cannot thank Rick enough. He's honestly such a great guy (I spoke politics with him too) and I hope everyone supports his shop. This experience is honestly exactly why more people should shop local.

Given his small stature, he found it difficult to put the ball into a 10 foot basket. However, Marc provided endless encouragement and motivation. One fine day, he finally put the ball in the basket! Not prepared to rest on his laurels, our son proceeded to come home and practice shooting hoops for two hour straight. He was able to get a total of 54 baskets! Not only does he love basketball and practice quite a bit, but he has come to love watching the NBA on TV having a greater appreciation of these amazing athletes. I have to say that I had my doubts in the beginning, but I'm glad I kept the faith because it paid off. I could not recommend Marc more highly.

As a professional teacher he would initially evaluate your knowledge of volleyball and note the areas that each individual needs to work on. Then he would start from working on the basic techniques one needs to develop and improve, and finally put those together. So, even if you think you know how to play Volleyball, you can still learn that you can do even more and possibly realize that you don't know how to play when having Marc as a rival in one of the training matches. My personal experience shows that I have improved my competitive team play over the last 4 months from a total beginner to one of the most formidable players in the corporate league there is. So if you think that team play is in the future of you or your kids, you should most certainly try Marc's instructions and insights. -George
