What a difference from other services tried…read more For history, we have been having our yard cleaned bi-weekly for the last couple of years with a different service, but they were always spotty at best - didn't show sometimes and didn't clean well others. We decided to try a new service and started using Pawfect early this year in May. For a better price, we have gone to weekly service. Plus the service is a 10 out of 10! We get timely communications, consistent on-time service, and great follow-up and text/photos of the service performed. Even better, is how thorough they are with the yard and making sure they get everything. We have three older dogs and it is important to us to make sure we are keeping their environment clean and we don't like to have to dodge a yard full of "bombs". In this particular case, an adopted puppy who needed double hip replacement as a result of dysplasia. My vet was highly recommending a local orthopedic. Mean while poor dog is in dire pain. I am stressed out listening to my dog's pain. Nothing can prepare you for listening to your dog trying to tell you. Help me. Long story short, I didn't have a plan. The referral vet, who has the dog's X-rays & medical records for over a month, never returned my call. My vet didn't shed any info, just that they would get the orthopedic surgeon to call me. Which never happened! I called Dr.Madigan. Left voicemails in tears. Trust me I couldn't stop crying. Dr. Madigan returned my calls with helpful advice. Never in my life have a met a more compassionate vet. This vet does not know me or owe me anything. Yet the Dr. Madigan provided his time! God less you, Dr. Madigan!

I depend on this Strutty's location for my horse products, my feed, my hay, my Pelleted bedding for my horse stall. I purchased halters from there and tiedowns, and all sorts of random stuff. I just like to be in there and buy new things. I returned a halter today, and she stomped out of nowhere up from behind me, and accused me of returning two halters, and that , this was a serious problem. She was the person that I returned the first halter too. The rope halter was so damn big it only fit a Clydesdale and she couldn't remember that. Even though we had a five minute conversation about it before I returned it. I returned another halter today because it stretched out instantly, and the knots were not balanced on my ex race horse and made him go crazy. He has a sensitive nose from chain halters. She was so nasty and accused me of returning a second halter. The woman is Vile, Angry, and clearly has a lot of problems. I am not one of them. The rest of the staff is amazing. But I will never go back to that Struttys ever again, because I will never support her paycheck. She should be fired.

A pudgy orange house cat named Dudley was welcoming folks at the door. I saw another long and lean black cat wandering the aisles too. I came for a few treats and a harness for my new pup. I was pleasantly surprised at how competitive their prices are compared to Petco or PetSmart. With a large selection of treats it was difficult to it narrow down but one of the staff helped me choose a few items. Just for giggles I bought a .85 cent chicken foot for my 8lb pup (he devoured it!). I was able to find the perfect harness and at almost $10 less than the big box stores. Strutty's is my new go-to pet store!

The staff members are so sweet and they also can get me in if I need an appointment on short notice. Being part of the rescue…read morecommunity, I have used a dozens of San Antonio and surrounding area vets and the only one I completely trust is Dr. Morrison in Boerne, Texas. I don't hesitate to make appointments or dread to take my pets to his office like I do several other vet offices mostly because of his friendly staff, easy to find location and the kindness, patience, and knowledge of Dr Morrison. I've never felt uncomfortable with the service I've received ( nor had to endure a fowl smell like I have had to in many vet lobbies, or have waited for an appointment once) and recommend him to everyone I know. My humble opinion is not as important as the opinion of my pets who drag me through his front door and wag when they see him.
